Their are semester system in the sol. Their was 6 semester it means three year course. They provide 24 classes in a year in every semester. Now they started a new method for books collection that is book appointments.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Everything is okay but sometimes teachers are absent from the class . It is open learning school there is no festival celebratipn and annual function also. Their is only classes and exams. Exam centre they are provide is good .

Campus Life

It is a open school so there is no festival celebratipn and annual function cele7. There is only 24 classes and exams . And in the end you can collect your degree . There is only one program that is degree distribution.

Admission

The course was three years and 6 semester. You can easily apply online for the course . School of open learning is also provide reservation. The exam is held in every 6 months . Exams is not too tough you can easily get questions from the YouTube also .

Faculty

They provide 24 classes in a year. Classes was mostly on Sundays and sometimes on holidays also. Everthing is okay but not provide proper study material. And sometimes teacher was absent from the class also.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
