Likes

If I talk about Infrastructure, It is really good
Bhimtal campus is one of the most green college.
You will get friends very easily seniors are friendly too.

Dislikes

Placements are not good enough as compared to previous years.
Environment is like a school, not much of a freedom.
Mess food is not good if you opt for hostel

Course Curriculum Overview

I'll be honest here,course curriculum is similar to other colleges. It is not the problem of only this college, the curriculum should be changes nation wide, it is not focused. We have to learn everything including chem phy.

Internships Opportunities

Companies that offered internships in our college were Amazon, atlassian , Microsoft and Infosys. College faculty send many more opportunities in the college group and stipend varies like for maang it's 1.5 lac per month whereas Infosys came for 9 lpa.

Placement Experience

Placements are average in this college, this year not many students were placed but companies came, it all depends on the student' skills. Highest intenship a girl got was 1.5 lac per month. Amazon, atlassian, Microsoft came for internship too.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure her depends on your domicile, school percentage, male/ female, army background, alumini discount, parent faculty, single parent. Avg course fee per year is 1 lac and B.tech is 1.5 lac per year

Campus Life

Overall college experience can vary from time to time, mood to mood, honestly there is not much freedom here but there are some clubs a person can join like literary club, nss , ncc. Some sports events are also organised.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are nice. It comes with single beds each for three person in one room. 1 washroom and bathroom for 6 students. A personal almira, study shelf, study table and bed table but the mess food is below average.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

There is no exam or jee score required to get admission in this college just pay the fees and get in. Easiest admissions, There are some benefits like uttarakhand domicile gets you 25% annual fees waiver.

Faculty

Faculty members are knowledgeable here, mostly with phd's. They are really supportive. Faculty to student ratio is low as students are very much in our college. We can interact with faculty at any time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I applied for the graphic Era hill University Dehradun, which is one of the branch of our university but however the placement and curriculum was almost same that's why I choose the campus which is close and next to me. As of regections, I did not get rejection due to limited application for colleges. The admission is quite easy where you need to submit the documents like marksheet, medical certificate, transfer and migration certificate, and a sum of fee to get your confirmation on admission. My College Experience

I had to choose this college as I was very late for an admission and this college was providing me a seat even after 4 months of admission date. I didn't apply for any other college as I was preparing for JEE Mains and Advanced. I was not rejected from any other college, I just didn't scored enough to get an admission. For admission in my college, they simply ask you some questions (interview sort of) and tell you the fees structure and then you can opt easily for your desired course.
