Nit calicut, the technical campus of international importance

For getting admission in nit Calicut, we have to clear jee main entrance exam. We have to apply online through official nta website by paying registration fees before application deadline mentioned in official website. Jee main exam is conduct in online mode including multiple choice questions and numerical questions. Questions level are moderate to difficult. Admission process occur through official josaa website including 6 round allotment based on jee main rank and reservation rank. Remaining seats are filled through 2 round allotment conduct in csab official website. We have to pay partial admission fees through online, if we get allotment.

In my institution course curriculum is prepared by well experienced officials controlled by Central government. Curriculum is updating every year in respect to development of new technology. And they help us in real world applications and for getting job. Teaching methods are very interactive and friendly with students . They use digital classroom very wisely and that help us to understand more about technical areas. There are eight semesters in 4 years. In each semester there are two main exams, first one is midterm exam and second one is end semester exam and in addition to those exam there is internal exams and assignment works also present. Exams are easy to moderate.

Many internship opportunities are available for nitc students from various international companies including wipro, Microsoft, etc. Also many internships offers are available in connection with other premium Institutes like iit's and other nit's.

Many students got job through campus placement process. Many companies visiting every year for recruiting students in various technical fields. Almost all students(90-100 ?) are placed during this process.

For 1 semester tution fee is 62.5k . But income based fee wavier also available. No tution fee for those have income less than 1 lakh. There are many governmental and non governmental scholarships also available. Some of them are NSP postmetric scholarship, egrantz(based on fees paid) , Reliance foundation scholarship(2.5 lakh for 4 year) , Medhaavi scholarship (50k).

Many cultural and non cultural festivals are conducting in institution including freshers party, dipawali fest, onam fest, tathva , ragam technical fests etc. A large central Library present in the campus, containing varieties of books, we can also access the digital library containing online resources. There are many extracurricular activities are present like ncc, nss, athletics camps, Sports day conducting every year. Many clubs are present including robotics, ai, music, athletics, etc...

There are many hostels present inside campus including two first year boys hostel, Mega hostels, girls hostels.In first year hostel , a room can accommodate 4 students, and two students in a room in mega hostels. Sports Complexes are also present in hostel. Registration process and fee payment are done through nitc hostel app. In mess, varieties of foods are vavailable including South and North indian food. Meal quality is very good and hygienic.

My department is civil engineering. For every core and non core subjects there is very good experienced teachers. Teachers are very helpful and interactive in academics and job related queries. They are very friendly and open to ask anything.
