Remarks

The college is located in the inner parts of the city. There is no crowd here All departments have their fest where eminent personalities are invited. Societies to have their fest. College provides laptops for 3 years of college with a nominal annual fee and scholarships are also available. Besides academics, the college has a large number of societies e.g.the music society, dance society, fashion society, and commerce societies. Besides, we also have NSS and NCC in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My course in college was b.a. prog. There were 4 subjects every year. and one they change every year. There was a total of 6 semesters in this three-year program. If someone who wants to study more then I think they should take honors courses. We had to submit assignments before the exam. An exam is organized twice a year. and in my 3 years, I had given the exam 6 times. Exams are organized semester wise. If someone who failed in the exam then they can give that subject exam in the next year.

Placement Experience

2

There were very few job opportunities this college organize only a few placement fairs. There are a lot of students there in the college but there is not much scope of placement through this college. No internship, no stipend nothing like that.

College Events

4

There were many events organized in the college. Fresher's party, miss s.p.m. , fair well, seminars, competitions, continuous 4-day function, sports day, etc. Fresher's party is organized for the new students. Miss s.p.m Is a contest for girls ., in 4-day continuous function there are a lot of activities I.e dance competitions, singing competition, poem competition, DJ, play, students from other colleges were also welcomed in this function.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is not very high. I think it can be easily paid. In this fee structure, there were library fee, tuition fee, college fee, et.c was included. But we have to make the exam fee separately before the exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are different scholarships I.e. merit scholarship. But there is no loan facility offered by the college. Those who want to get a scholarship they have to apply for it before the last date. details of the scholarship are shared through the notice board.

Campus Life

4.5

There is a lab, music room, gym, library, a big ground, a beautiful garden NCC, NSS I'm the college. students who have taken sports can participate in different sports. But other students cannot participate in sports. But on sports day there were a lot of competitions in which any student can participate in the i.e race.

Hostel Facilities

4

There is no hostel in our college. No hostel, there is hostel facilities but through Delhi university. For which h students have to apply. But there are very few rooms for students this arrangement is not for a lot of students.

Alumni/Alumna

We didn't connect much the senior students. Beau's they had their classes separately. We didn't have much time to talk to them. But there an only a few senior students with whom I got very friendly they guided us I also purchased books from them.

Admission

I got admission on the basis of merit list. After the result of 12th, I filled a common form in du which is mandatory to take admission in any college of Delhi University. After some time they provided a cut off list through their website, newspaper s. First of all, I visited the college, there were volunteers who were helping the students. then I purchased an admission form, filled it with the help of teachers who were present there, Attached my documents with it, & after all that I submitted my form to the charge over there. Then they told me to submit college fee, then I went to the college office they gave me a fee slip and told me to submit my fee in the bank which was also in the college premises. I went to the bank deposited my fee they attested my fee slip. & finally, I got admission in that college.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty of the college is good. teachers are good the best part of this college is that they don't use sticks or something to punish you. They teach every student, and they know how to make them understand. They help us in everything when we are in need. They are helpful., most of the teacher are amazing and so nice people in general. The quality of teacher here is commendable. The student to faculty ratio is satisfactory. And there are enough insights from them on industry courses like journalism and mostly on everything. The curriculum is prescribed from Delhi University. So the syllabus has to be the best in the country.

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
