College Review

Yeah well, positive things are there. I got many friends. I got a degree. I learned much personal and professional knowledge. I also learned how to live independently for 4 years without parents alone somewhere.

It is lengthy and broad course but can learn and access it with the help of plenty of resources available. It is split into 8th semesters which includes the following subjects as follows: fluid mechanics, mathematics, the strength of materials etc. Well, exams are conducted every semester. In total, eight-semester university exams are there as per CUSAT university.

Yes, my college provided it. Once I got a chance to do an internship at a railway engine locomotive workshop for a week. But I didn't get any stipend for it. It was a good experience indeed though I got an opportunity to gain required technical knowledge. Well, placements and job opportunities are there in college. But rarely only core companies come for recruitment for our mechanical department.

Many events are there and conducted every here. Here is the list as follows: sports event, arts event, college day event, teachers day event, tech fest event. Well with full enthusiasm and energy, students come and participate in such events to show their talents.

The fee structure is not so expensive. But also not so feasible either. Though management students have to pay ten thousand rupees extra than the merit list of students. And moreover, the fees of NRI students are three times more than merit list students.

I don't know anything about it though I got money from my parents. They are the ones who brought me up. Never I had to face any such situation to seek the help of bank loans or scholarships. Moreover being a general category, the chance to get scholarships is less.

I don't have many extracurricular activities, labs, sports... I always like and love to have a peaceful and calm time alone with myself. To cherish and relax in my own world of silence and simplicity. Yeah, I sometimes read.

For me, I didn't approach them for any help personally. Neither I had any interest to mingle with them like my other friends. As I always said, I just like to stay with myself in my own world with no mingles and dingles.

I wrote my state entrance exam and was listed in the merit list. And then opted for trial, first, second and third allotments in the application as per the popularity and rank of the colleges. Henceforth, I got admitted to college under CUSAT university.

They are friendly, supportive, educated and well-experienced faculty. At times of doubt and confusion, we can approach them at any time with no hesitation. Moreover, most of them complete the syllabus within the allotted time.
