Glimpeses of NIT Kurukshetra

In the curriculum, there we are covering very wide subjects and it's becoming like burden. Although we get proper availability of books in the library, Practical in the laboratory. The improvement is there should be the availability of book of new addition. There is a requirement of tutorial class so that we can experience the theory we learn in class. There are some difficulties like 2 mid-semester, 1 end-semester, and practical exams in approx 5 months which makes our schedule very hectic. Although it warns us frequently to study seriously

After 6th semester students are eligible for placement. There are approx. 300 companies are recruiting students from our college. Famous companies like jio, vipro, Microsoft, google, Mahindra, bislery, patm etc. This year placement decreased due to the implementation of AI in industries. Every year approximately 85 or more percent of students are got placed but this year placement rate decreased.

Tution fees are there about 125000 per year. Other fees like command fees, securties fee, hostel and mess fees. Hostel fees can vary regarding to hostel facilities in the range of 65 to 80 thousand per year. Here many students got scholarships like FFE, NSP, UP scholarship, Haryana scholarship, etc. We get here tuition fees concession like income below 1 lack we get full wavering of tution fees. But examination fees, library fees, health and care fees are there constantly applicable.

There are two fest organises in NIT Kurukshetra. The cultural fest is confluence and technical fest is Techspardha. Both fest are of 4 days. Actually our NIT is very old and you can understand the infrastructure of this NIT. Our NITs performance regarding sports is very good and students are participating in open national competitions. There is a good opportunity to start you bussiness and run your social group.

There are many things in the room provided like study table, chair, bed, fan and cupboard to put you essntials and cloths. The meal provided inmanue is vagitarian and of good quality. Hostle fees are to be payed in advance for six months.

Eligibilty is only after clearing jee main exam and getting good CRL ranking . You can fill the form of jee main which will be a ailable on the college website and also available on sarkari result. com. after clering exam you can go through councelling and get selected in NIT kurukshetra. Eligibility of courses will be provided regarding to your CRL ranking and some catagory benifits are also there .

Most of the professors are good, highly qualified, and wise. We require some tutorial classes in spite of only theory classes and hence we face trouble in learning the things, concepts, and understanding of upcoming new technologies and their mechanisms. We can contact you through sms or in class, we can interact directly through faculty. Interaction with faculty is good but we want some improvement like practical explanation etc.
