Likes
- The Labs are nice the computers do work pretty well
- The teachers are okay , you will just have to follow what they say and you are good to go. And as of placements , honestly it's on you more than the college. The college will give you opportunities but taking those is your duty.
- Campus engagement is nice , there's not even a drop ragging or anything related issues. Students are all friendly.
Dislikes
- The size of the campus, it's very small . The roads that lead to the college are always broken .
- The administrative department. No more words.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is okay , we are being taught the relevant things and that's what we need but we need to update the second year curriculum. They need Java along with C and python. Each semester consists of 4 CA(continuous assessment) and with a gap of 1 month from one another.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are solely on students, and their abilities to secure them . Personally I have been offered a stipend of 15k/month to intern for IBM . The projects are stream related . They will definitely help us to secure some good knowledge and experience.
Placement Experience
From the 6th sem the students are pulled for on campus exams and placement. Many companies visit our college last year Amazon took some and offered them 36LPA and Deloitte offered 21 . Highest package goes around 30-40LPA and the average goes around 5-7LPA . 97% placement offers.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees increases yearly. A year crosses and the course fee increases. The exam forms and other costs are not included in the course fee. We have to pay each time for the enrollment forms and al. There are scholarships available I don't remember specifics. Some covers full coverage and some covers 70% of the course fee.
Campus Life
Annual festivals are Hosted by our cultural club YUVA . And technical fests are held by Megatronix by the name of Paridhi. They are held around March and April. There are sports club also . MSL and MCL are the cricket and football games . There is GDSC also.
Admission
Eligibility: science background with pcmb or pcmc There is no such application form to get admission. There are two methods one is wbjee/Jee or Direct admission. The admission process is very simple and easy . You will all the paper work ie the basics Birth certificate, 12 marksheet and adhaar card or any identification proof.
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is okay , yes there have been times when we do shifts in labs because the CSE is huge . And the the interactiveness of the teachers are way above the minimum requirements. The HOD of the CS department is cool . He is no doubt the coolest HOD. He will help you with everything.
