Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good and exams are conducted by SBPU (formerly University of Pune), the exams are relevant to the course. Deep knowledge about Electronics and Digital logic helped me in taking a placement in a reputed organization. You are given a free hand to carry out any research project.
Placement Experience
Third-year students are optional to have an internship, however different organization such as Mircosoft and Google. Companies working in the Information Technology sector and service sector also carry out internships interviews in months of March- June offer you an intern for 3-6 months.
College Events
Akriti Cultural event help in Odd semester every year once the freshers are inducted into college. Tech-Akriti is held in Even semester with is technical events amalgam. Events such as PACE is held at city level which comprises of various sports competitions.
Fee Structure And Facilities
First year fees include Admission fees (one time) and fee towards placement registration. Fees are comparatively less amounting to 2 lakh for the first year and around 1.7 lakh for subsequent years. The fee is subjected to increase/remain the same based on industry situation.
Fees and Financial Aid
Once I got AGIF scholarship based on my third-year marks, I got 40000/- rupees as a scholarship. I get automatically credited once you are in top 10 students of your class among your category.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is maintained good, but no minimum gender ratio is required, it is based completely on merit. Various BCJ (Tribute to Gen. B.C. Joshi) events including debate, discussions are held regularly to make student ready for challenging world outside.
Hostel Facilities
Nominal Fees of around 60k which includes food (3-course meal) facilities such as gym, cricket, volleyball, basketball, football, badminton. Meals are nutritious and are prepared hygienically. The hostel fees are paid only once starting of the odd semester.
Alumni/Alumna
Once you are about to graduate out of college, you are eligible for alumni association member. Once you are a member, you can see various job postings, connect to fellow batchmates, seniors juniors. Go to alumni meets.
Admission
Separate AIT Application needs to be filled and you need to clear JEE Pre. There is no interview, Somewhere around July, every year classes start. Based on your rankings in AIT merit list your are given preference to choose your branch. Overall the college is good for under graduation. College management is great & helpful. Good placements. 9/10 rating from my side.
Faculty
The college faculty is good and non-biased. They come from a big experience from either industry or teaching. They challenge your skills in every aspect. They help you in carrying out some research work if you are interested in one. Faculty also guides you in writing paper/patents also.
