Roorkee College of Engineering is the best college in Uttarakhand. Seniors are very supportive to us, they help in every situation. Faculty are very supportive of the help in the students with all the problems.
Course Curriculum Overview
Exam and curriculum are very good at Roorkee College of Engineering. The course is BTech in Computer Science and Engineering which I am pursuing from this college which is a 4 years fulltime technical degree program having the semester exam pattern.
Placement Experience
The college has dedicated training and placement cell whihc organizes training as well as placement drives. The placement provided at the college is good. The student placed in good companies from the college is around 96%. Major recruiters are HCL, 99Acres, Infosys, Genpact, Mahindra Satyam, Reliance, TCS, etc.
College Events
Every event is celebrated with the full support of faculty and students. Everyone supports each other with good efforts. It also makes a good memory. Hunar, Sahyog, Aarambh, Alvida, Deep Sandhya, Engineers Day celebrations, Gandhi Jayanti, Republic Day Celebration, etc are celebrated in our college every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees charged for the course is feasible. The annual charges are Rs.82,000 per year. Easily affordable as the fee is payable as per semester wise.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Army Personnel/Farmers/Freedom Fighter/Sports persons/Uttarakhand domicile/siblings of present/alumni with a minimum of 60% in eligible 12th class shall be eligible for a college scholarship of 25% of tuition fees of the first year. Apart from this, there is a sports quota scholarship also available in which sportsperson of the different levels will get a different scholarship on tuition fees like National Level-100%, State Level-50%, District Level-30%, School Level-10%.
Campus Life
The campus life of our college is very good, they have a very good ratio with an equal number of boys and girls. The surrounding of the college is very beautiful. The campus offers an enchanting site with 30 acres of lush green pollution free atmosphere.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is very comfortable for the students. The mess charges are Rs.45,000 per year. For the food, there are both the options veg and nonveg are available, students can choose according to their food choice.
Admission
I search on the internet regarding colleges & found this college as the best in Uttarakhand with good reviews. Everything is good as mentioned on its website. I got admission after the registration which I did through the College website.
