Course Curriculum Overview
The course is based on all the marine subjects and mechanical subjects. The syllabus recently added is very huge and a bit tough. So all have to work so hard to pass in the exams. The course is given to make us familiar with all the things which we will see and do on ships and seas life.
Placement Experience
Our Placement of the college is best from all marine colleges and 85% of the cadets get placed. They got eligible from 2nd year and many companies start recruiting from 2nd year . The companies like wsm, pb, fleet and chevron which are best companies which more number of cadets. Mostly all the cadets of our college get the on campus placement. This is all due to our alumini network.
Fees and Financial Aid
Btech Marine engineering course is of 4years and it's about 2.25 lakh per annum and all including tution fees, hostel fees, mess, articles. The college fees is quite affordable and there is also the loan facility available for the cadets who can't pay their fees. The scholarship is also available to the rankers of the batch.
Campus Life
Our campus life is good and the cadets who are studying here are enjoying their life and get successful also. The campus has many facilities which makes cadets engages and they can enjoy their campus life. Their campus has its own sports feild and swimming pool. The college has all the sports like badminton, hockey, cricket, volleyball, basketball, kabaddi, table tennis. College has a huge library which contains thousands of marine books.
Hostel Facilities
Their is a seperate hostel for all the years and girls too. The college hostel fee is included in the semester fees. The college hostel are given with all the facilities like gym and indoor games. The hostel mess food is average and can be eaten.
Admission
To get admission in marine government college, one should give the Imu CET exam and quality it. The basic requirement of this exam is that one should mare than 60%marks in PCM and more than 50% in English. It is conducted once in a year and you can get the form online.
Faculty
Most of our faculty member is our pass out. They have a deep knowledge about the subject which helps the students with their academic and their experience on the board also gives the cadets about ship and the work to do done on board. We could contact with our teacher at any time, they are ready to help us everytime.
