Course Curriculum Overview
Biology and medical field is very interesting to me . I find joy in helping other so by joining biomedical engineering I can do both study engineering which is my goal from my childhood and also go to the medical field and help others by repairing or making or servicing medical devices. the curriculum teaches us how to do the work within deadline and being consistent is very important.the exams are very frequent so we are always busy . And don't not get totally detached from the syllabus.
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies come to hire junior engineer and junior maneger depending on the companies . There is a mandatory final year project for everyone and that helps us understand about how products are made in the industry and how to manage demand and supply.
Placement Experience
After completing the 6th semester and 3rd year the students are eligible for campus placements. There are many core specific and other mass recruiter it companies come every year like TCS, Accenture etc Highest average package is around 15-20 lpa Percentage of students getting placement is around 60 or more .my plan after getting a degree is to get a job in the core field.
Fees and Financial Aid
The complete cost of education including compulsory charges is around 5 lacs . The Swami Vivekananda scholarship is available from the govt. Of west bengal .which offers 5 thousand monthly to the students who are getting 60 or more percentage yearly .there are different internships available and the faculty helps us to join in them.
Campus Life
There are several annual and technical fests like mesmerized, avenir , and other stream specific fests. There are many types of books and journals present in the library and also computers are there and soft copies of different journals are present there. zest our annual sports fest also occur every year and many teams forms different streams comete against each other.therw are many student run social media groups are there .which gives us news about many upcoming events and fests.and job opportunities.
Admission
The application fees and etc can be found in the college website and the other things such as results and marks on each continuous assessment and practical assessment and even semester results can be found on the university website .the exams are very frequent and they are very difficult as well which helps us better to prepare for the semester exams
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is good almost 10 students against one faculty .faculty is very helpful and generous to solve our doubts. We can approach teaches whenever we need ..If they are busy at that moment then they get back us just after doing what they were doing .
