Course Curriculum Overview
curriculum is average to good as other colleges are also having the same time to time some changes should be made on syllabus of the courses. As for gate exam you can prepare according to your course curriculum but its not best for the placements. Labs curriculum should be better as their are all programming labs but here it's quality is worst. only one or two faculties helps you in programming but others do not stays there for 1 minute and goes to their cabins.
Placement Experience
very less on-campus placements. if given placements very less package is given. A company called BEL(Bharat Electronics Limited) gives a good offer to students but this year they do not hired anyone froom CSE even from nit uttarakhand but hired some from other departments. *some students have cracked very good packages one was of 97 lacks(amazon london) but was off-campus and some students have cracked microsoft and amazon but all are off-campus most of the students prepare for compitive exams like GATE or other prepare for banking sector or any other job in different domain like management.
Fees and Financial Aid
fees structure is much affordable as compared to other private collages. semester fees is around 32-33k and mess+ hostel fees is 18-18.5k approx. you can apply for TFW(tution fee waver) seat so that you will have to pay 25k lesser each semester on college fees. else you can apply for NSP(national scholarship portal) and if you perform good in semester examination (top 5% in your branch) you will get merit scholarship
Campus Life
classes are from 9-4 . lunch break 1-2 earlier it was only monday-friday, but now it is also for saturday. No time for any other things. their is a annual fest named "Goonj", sports meet called "Josh" and technical-fest also. central library is present consist a lot of books but sometimes there are a lot books are their which many students need but not present in general section these are only available for SC/ST students and are present their in bulk.(plus point for you if you are having category) but generally they are unused very less students take them.
Hostel Facilities
hostel facility is average. splitted into two parts 1- hostel room and other charges-2-2.5k / semester 2- mess fees 16k/semester hostels are average but if there any issue arises they will atleast take 1 week to resolve (#atleast). sweepers are not good they do not complete their work properly and go back to their houses after marking attendance. mess food taste wise only kedar hostel and neelkanth has good food. but it is unhyginic in all hostels.
Admission
their are two options for admission 1-jee mains 2-12th result jee mains result will be given preferance you have to apply to UTU counselling portal for it and on selection you will be given a date for physically verification of document at the college admin block.
Faculty
In CSE department the good part is the faculties are lenient and they not stops you for useless reasons but very less faculties put in their efforts towards teaching students. On certificate, qualifications are good but without efforts it is not gonna work. but some faculties seriously put in their efforts and supports on doubt solving. A HUGE amount of unnecessary assignments tutorials and file works are given here. and some faculties uselessly give files to be handwritten.
