My college

the curriculam of a course is relevance but not up to date. the syllabus of a subject should be updated because old syllabus is not more relevance in some subjects. the curriculam is focused towards the Gate exam but it should be placemnt oriented too.

The placement of college is very poor that is why most of the students are started doing preparation for GATE exam or any other govt. exam. student who studied in last year of their course are eligible for on campus placement. From last 1 to 2years the on campus placement of CSE is very poor but some of the students gets good packages via off campus. Most visited company is BEL.BEL offered highest package of around 10-12 LPA to the students. Some other companies also visited and hired the stuedents.

The fees of a college is much affortable compared to other private colleges. the tution fee is 63-65k per year and hostel and mess fee is 36-37k per year approx. If you are the top 1% student of your class based on the marks obtain by you in exams,then you apply for the merit scholarship provided by the collge. the scholarship amount is around 5-6k approx. you can apply for the national scholarship[NSP] which is provided by the central govt. pf India.

the campus life is good, due to the hilly area location of college the facilities are not good enough. but the view around the collge is pretty good . GOONJ is a annual function of the college , which is held on a around month of a april or may. In sports, you can play football ,cricket ,vollyball,badminton,table tennis etc. In the collge SAC[student activity cell] is a main club.other then that many sports club and different deparment have their own clubs. Like CSE deparment have their own club which is SCE[society of computer science & engineering]. and college have one central library where you can study in a college time. the books which is related to your course you can issued them for 15 days and extend the time by renuing the book .

The hostels for every year students is different . like for 1st year have kailash , for 2nd year rudra hostel etc. the hostels are good , for till 3rd year three students live together in one room but in a final year single room are for each and every students. in a room you have one bad, table,chair ,almira for each and every students is given by the college. all the other things of your need you have to take them by your own. and the rooms are good especially in a rudra and kaillash hostel. Water supply is a main problem in each and every hostel. The quality of a food in a mess is average but sometime quality of a food is increased.every hostel has their own mess.

The admission in a B.tech course happen directly based on the jee mains percentile. and if you wanna take a admission in a biotechnology then you can also appeared in a college level exam conduct by the college itself. 85% of a seat are reserved for the Uttarakhand domicile students. firstly you have to take a part of a utu counselling and then if you have alloted the college then you have to physically present in a college with all the required document within a given time. if you are not alloted college via utu counselling then you can take a part on spot counselling conduct by the college.

the faculty of CSE department is very lenient compared to other department faculty. The faculties are very well certified and qualified and some of them are well experienced too. some of faculty put serious effort for teaching but some just came and do formalities of teaching.
