- Teachers are helpful. We can reach out to them if we're facing any difficulty understanding anything.
- SOL is finally coming up with new diploma courses and graduation courses like ba psychology hons and other courses
- If a student was not able to gave a practical or internal assessment they extend the date of submission
Dislikes
- The campus they choose sometimes have the worst campus and toilets and not even clean.
- The results come so late like after 4 5 months
Course Curriculum Overview
The main reason i chose this course was because of the need for the psychologist these days.. but due to some issues i couldn't get into regular college. SOL being the open college still provides the whole knowledge of the course and job opportunities.. as this course was introduced last year they have to bring some improvements in the study material
Internships Opportunities
They have started the internship programme for the people who are seeking jobs and for the women.. but i haven't applied for any internships but i will in my 2nd year for sure.. they provide a great platform to learn and earn..
Fees and Financial Aid
I belong to a middle class family but as compared to other private institutes SOL have the least payable fees and the ones who belong to lower middle class they can get the half of their fees back with some application procedure(can't remember the exact name of the program) fees for the BA psychology hons is arounf 25-26k which i guess if pretty affordable when you're getting lot of benefits..
Campus Life
Overall experience with campus life is okaish till now.. the crowd and the centres where our classes hed are pretty average.. the library also has easy access to books and stuff. There are lot of clubs which i am unaware of ???? and i might gonna regret not taking a part
Admission
The admission process was so easy just had to fill an obline form and paid the fees. The eligibility for the course is 12+ with 50% ig.. an individual can find the form on the sol website.. although they should gave us more classes rather than on only sundays..
Faculty
The faculty of SOL are well educated no doubt. I'm pursuing psychology hons and the teachers of this course teach very well. Nupur ma'am ig is the best teacher of sol.. my friends and i faced an issue related with some books which wasn't available neither online or offline but after putting our concerns they uploaded the study material asap.
