They take less fees according to private universities
Books price are included in one time fess
Provide online and offline classes and notes also

Dislikes

The paper center was too far for girls .
They gave us books when exam is almost coming
The gap between paper is less and some gap is more

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose BA program I like the course because I like to read about politics , history and education. These subject teach us about the world and we will able to know about your current affairs and history. I don't think to change anything. Personally I love my course

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 4000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year almost fees increase 1000 rupees .Semester by Semester fees increase . Sol takes less fees as compare to private university. Bit sometimes it is not affordable for all people . They take fees at one time , I think fees divide into two half for 1 Semester and half for other Semester

Campus Life

I am not a regular student I take open classes but whenever I get chance to celebrate event and festival I will. PLEASE organise such events for open students also. Bur my friend tells the fest or events are fabulous so I trust them I think they held best

Admission

When I take admission there was no entrance exam so I didn't gave it but when we talk admission structure the sol website is to slow I think they have to update their website and change their fee structure

Their teaching way is good but for open student they doesn't give classes every week. We have no books so they provide is notes for little preparation before exam . We only went college when exam is coming

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
