Course Curriculum Overview
College follows AKTU (Abdul Kalam Technical University) syllabus and curriculum. There are regular workshops for every courses regarding their courses. Exam are of intermediate level not so hard not so easy and there is exam gaps for mid and sessional exams. For mid sem about 1 to 2 days gap. And for sessional exams there are 3 to 4 days gap.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year onwards students are eligible for campus placement and interviews. Companies like zscalar, Flipkart, forma, ibm, Accenture, Apollo and more visits University. There are 94% students who gets placed by the university
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship are provided on the basis of your high school percentage or CGPA. And scholarship are provided to students who achieves more than 70 percentage, which is categorised for individuals (valid for all courses duration)
Campus Life
There is YUVA fest which is one of the nicest fest in dehradun. And there is Tech fest like IT utsava and Gaming stitch and aeroiods. Library is very big and filled with lakhs of books. Books can be issued or read in library.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are quite decent. There are 4 categories of Hostel rooms 4-seater, 3- seater, 2-seater, and single seater. There are no AC rooms. Mess food is good and flexible menu. There is 4 time duration for food
Admission
Eligibility for course defined by subjects chosen in High school and percentage in High school. Application Form can be filled online on website or in admission cell of University. Exam are not so tough and not so easy, intermediate level.
Faculty
Faculty members are from some of IITs, NITs and other foreign institutions. They are very supportive and helpful in extra curricular activities other than regular syllabus and helps in other sources. College also provide a personal mentor in ERP system and some of LMS content online
Interview Experience
Preparation for interview are done by placement cells by performing group discussion session, Jam session and dressing sense. Topics for Group discussion are situation based and observations. Criteria for admission is only based on percentage of your high school.
