- Campus area is small. Infrastructure is not that good

Course Curriculum Overview
Civil engineering of nit patna is very old and a good course offered by NIT Patna. The labs are good with all kind of equipments in proper conditions so that we can learn properly. The exams are conducted twice for a semesters. Once after a month and other at the end of semesters.
Internships Opportunities
The companies which offer internship with stipend are Trident, Microsoft, Google etc. Everyone do not get paid internship. Many students have to do unpaid internship which is disappointing. Everyone should get paid internships.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placement in 7 th semester and there are many good companies visiting college like microsoft l and t etc. The placement status of college is good. In computer science more than 80 percent students get placed
Fees and Financial Aid
For sc st the tution fee is very less approximately 4000 rupee for a semester and for obc it is 25000 and for general it is 96000 Hostel fee is same for everyone. Till now I have not got any scholarship. There is no one to guide about scholarships.
Campus Life
There are events like eccentrica and technical cultural festivals held every year in which students join for enjoyment. The library provides all course related books and different books for competitive exams.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are not that good. There are six people living in a single room in girls hostel which makes it difficult for us to study well or sleep well. The food quality is good but it can be improved. The menu consist of chaval daal raita puri chana aaloo sbji bread butter idli dosa sambar chutney aaloo bhunjia veg biryani gulab jamun rasgulla bananas . We get chai biscuits in the evening.
Admission
In 12 th students should have minimum score of 75 percent and in jee they should have good percentile like minimum 95 percentile to get into college. Admission process is such that you have to do physical reporting at the college and provide all your documents .
Faculty
Faculty to students ratio is less. There are less number of faculties. We get same faculty for two semesters. Most of the faculties have done btech mtech and phd from good colleges like IISC Banglore IIT'S etc. We get the chance to interact with teachers even outside classroom. We can approach them anytime during working hours for our doubts
