Course Curriculum Overview
Bachelor of Technology is something that I've always wanted to pursue, especially because of my undying love for science and computers. The curriculum of the college is surprisingly better than other curriculums, as it is a perfect blend of theory and practical approaches to the modern day problems. The teaching style of teachers are very satisfactory and amazing. They should add more competitive level programming courses so that students can be better at what they do. The frequency and timings of the exams are absolutely great. The course is designed in such a way that every kind of student can easily catch up to the pace of the syllabus and teachers do a great job in covering the syllabus up to the mark.
Internships Opportunities
JP Morgan, DE Shaw, Morgan Stanley, Google, Amazon and Microsoft are some amazing companies that seek for interns from the college. Girls are given so many opportunities for interning and these companies provide a PPO 80% of the time.
Placement Experience
From 4th semester onwards, students start getting internships and from 5th semester onwards girls start getting the campus placement opportunities. For boys, placement starts from 6th sem onwards. My plans are to pursue an MBA after BTECH.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am a student on scholarship and surprisingly my fees has been reducing each year and the burden is very less on my parents. The fees is very very satisfactory. Other universities will tend to take more fees and not even provide the quality education.
Campus Life
The campus is full of hustle and bustle and sometimes it is quite. It is very beautiful and green. The annual fest is known as Grafest and is held twice every year. In summer time, top artists are called to perform in Grafest. The facilities are top notch, the technology is amazing! Sports and extracurricular is given a lot of opportunities.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are affordable and amazing. They're super hygienic. The food is however a tad bit not up to the mark. The hostel is very safe and good for girls specially. I have rented a pg and it is amazing!
Admission
The eligibility of the course depends totally on the merit basis. The marks you scored in your 12th grade or in JEE MAINS AND ADVANCED matter. The admission process is very smooth and the exams are done fair and square
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is pretty satisfactory. It is great and helps us learn in a very positive aspect. The faculties are top tier and have had great experiences and have amazing teaching styles and methods. We can interact with teachers anytime with want, they are very friendly and helpful.
