Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good and it is defined by Gujarat Technological University. In every semester we have to choose subject for our course as per some rules and regulations. Teaching method of Faculty is very bad they didn't teach the full subject just teach two to three concepts form one to two subject and then tell subject is completed. Also they didn't curious about to take leactures. They take 2 mid term exam and then final semester exam. Marks is calculated using average of two mid exam and added into final semester exam.

Internships Opportunities

I am selected in Synoverge technologies pvt ltd company with 4.5 lakh CTC package and they provide me Association Software engineer post in ERP technology. I working in different different form client side which I can't mention here because of some privacy policy of company.

Placement Experience

In GEC Patan there are many branches available but I just talking about computer science and engineering branch. In CSE department, every year company visit for placement. They gave around 3 to 6 lakh per Annual CTC package. If i talking about mine then i preparing for GATE CSE exam for getting admission in IITS for MTech or MS(r) course. I crack GATE exam and get the admission in IIT MANDI for MS(R) + PHD in Intelligent System and also get the job in Income tax , Ahemdabad.

Fees and Financial Aid

Overall i paid 1500 rupees per semester because i am from non TFW . If you are from TFW quota then your fees is 0 ruppes. I take economically weaker section scholarship which is around 5500 per year. If we talking about employement in college time so best option is Freelancing. You can use chegg, course hero, etc.. for Part time work and get good amout of money.

Campus Life

In my college every year they arrange some tech fest and celebrate some festival also. But I am from mehsana and doing up-down for college so I never try to giving in any festival or tech fest in college. In February month they also arrange sport weeks for different different sports like cricket , volleyball, badminton etc...

Admission

For get the admission in Government Engineering college, you have to pass 12th science with group A. If you got percentage around 65 to 80 Then You will get the seat in government college. If you avail the reservation quota then you will get admission in less percentage. Talking about semester exam then exams are very simple if you prepare before 2 week of exam date so you will definitely pass the exam with good grades.

Faculty

Faculty members in my college is Average because some Faculty in computer science department is good but some of the Faculty didn't well they also not helping us for any kind of course subject problem. This is the personal experience of mine, some Faculty didn't want to help you in your career and subject problem.

Placements at NIT Patna Are good for cs e The students become eligible from 7th semester Average place fields is around 13 to 14 lpa Eld highest goes to 40 Around 85 to 95 Percent students get placed I plan to become a software developer after graduation

Motihari Engineering College in my Point Of View

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible to seat and apply for campus placements . Eligiblity criteria depends on companies but if you have 7 CGPA ir more than that then you don't need to worry . Companies like Godrej, ACC,CDAC, BHEL, Infosys, WIPRO ,TCS etc. visited our college for campus placements. Highest package from our college is around 13 Lakh Per Annum and average placement is 3 to 4 Lakh Per Annum Its totally depends upon companies and their job profiles. There are almost 60 to 70 percentage student got placement ( In upper branches like CSE& AI percentage is slightly high otherwise it is quite low for civil and our branches) My plans after getting a degree that is I have to go for M.Tech from any IITs of India I am preparing hard for that.

The placement of this collage are not as good as it should have to be. Students gets as the average packlagge of around 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Branches like cse and ai also didnot get placements as it should have to be.Students depends on government vaccancies and offline placements like rozgar mela etc to got job. government should have to focus on these.

Genuine Review of Motihari Engineering College

Placement Experience:

From 6th semster you are eligible to sit in campus placement . There is companies like Infosys , TCS , De Walls Ads , Wipro, Congnizent, ACC visited our college for campus placements . They have limited offers with limited packages also they have some eligiblity criterias like students should have CGPA above than 7.5 . Highest package offered in our college is 13 LPA per annum by TCS for a CSE student and Average package is around 3.5 to 4 lakh per annum. There is highest placements in branches like CSE ,EEE andCIVIL. Other branches got less offeres. Totally 50 to 60 percentage students got placements from our college because majority lower branch students are preparing for government exams like SSC , UPSC, BPSC , DAROGA and GATE. My plans after getting the degree to go for highes studies (M.TECH) .

Motihari Engineering College in my Point Of Views

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There is companies like Wipro , Infosys, ACC, Copegimini, Congnizent, TCS visited our college for campus placements. There is very less number of offers given by companies and also there is almost negligible offers for Lower branches(like Mechanical and Civil) . There is highest 12.4 lakh per annum for a CSE student given by TCS and average salary of 4 LPA . There is only 50 to 60 percent students got placements in which majority are from CSE , CSE-AI , and EEE branches. My plans after getting the degree is doing M.tech from any reputed Colleges of India like some NITs or IITs depending to my Gate Score.

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester students become eligible for cmpus placements . Thera are a few companies like HCL, TCS, Wipro, Infosys , Cisco ,Figma ,ACC and so on visited our college for campus placement but limited offers . Percentage of placements is arround 60 % which is very low but students are trying there best . Higher package was 12.4 LPA by Infosys as SDE and avrage package of 4 LPA. My plans are not taking plaement , I am preparing for gate 2027 .

Placement Experience:

Well placed college

Remarks:

Positive:- Very Good college and working very hard to become one of best college of Bihar. Negative:- Very few faculty of civil engineering in our College, the lab facility for 3rd and 4th year student is not available at all.
