Likes
- Has a great Infrastructure. It has really good library. Classrooms are big and ventilated.
- Teaching faculty is really good and supportive. They even helps in students projects and encourages them to pursue other things too .
- Multiple events are organized where students get a chance to participate in different things where they can showcase their talent. These events help students in improving their communication skills.
Dislikes
- MIT is an expensive college. Each course charges a lot of fee which i think is a bit expensive as compared to other colleges
- It has cafes and all it the campus as well as outside of the campus. But these cafes too are bit high priced.
- The college is like just 900m away from the metro or bus stop but it is located on the hill; So it gets really tiring to climb that hill in the morning everyday.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is a mixture of Physics, Maths and Programming. Programming is a need of time right now in this current world so this course really helps me in solving real life problems in many different ways. This course not just includes basic Physics but also inlcudes other subjects like quantum mechanics, astrophysics and etc. so that student can choose whatever their interested topic to do major in the future. In every way this is a really great course. They conduct frequent tests and exams so that students don't forget the concepts over the period of time. Difficulty level varies with the start of the academics.
Internships Opportunities
I haven't got any intership yet as it will be in my fourth year of this course from the college but i havebeen applying to other interships outside of this course where i can apply my knowledge learned in this course.
Placement Experience
I am in 3rd year of my course and i am from the first batch of this course in this college so i don't have ,much idea about what all the placements option will be there but as per the faculty and my course's curriculum we will be having wide range plscements option. Students having interest in research can apply for the jobs in their respective fields whereas students having interest in industrial filed can opts for those jobs. I will be going for the industrial field because i have an interest in all the tchnology and software related things.
Fees and Financial Aid
Current fee of the course if Rs80000 and plus the exam fee is taken separately either along with the college fees or separately at the time of exams. I am in 3rd year right now so i don't know what all the internships will be there but according to the broucher and the course curriculum this course provides a great number of good internships and placements.
Campus Life
The college organizes multiple evnts like RIDE ,SLDP etc. which really helped me in gaining more knowledge about many different thingsand fileds. It helped me in improving my communication skills by volunteering in such events. Also, there are different clubs for different interests like for singing, dancing, space and so on; Which really helps students in pursuing their talent and learn new things, improve and showcase their talent.
Admission
Student can get the admission into this course either on the basis of 12th marks followed by personal interview or by the entrance exam. I got the aadmission by PI so i don't have much idea about the entrance exam. Process of admission is online but students can visit the campus and meet faculty teachers for course consultation and get their douts clear. I don't think i would like to make any improvment in the admission process.
Faculty
Faculty is highly qualified in their respective fields. They are really supportive to each students. They are always encouraging students to try other diffferent things and also encourages them to pursue student's interest. They always welcomestudents whenever students need them and give them right advice and helps in solving what so ever problem students is facing whether it is academic or related to anything happening in the college.
