Course Curriculum Overview
The college strictly follows the CBME curriculum The professors and the department make sure to finish portions on time but at the same time they don't rush the coaching Apart from their theory classes they also conduct small group teaching with interactive sessions Apart from this we also have little clinical exposure from the very beginning which slowly increases which enables us to apply the knowledge in real world They also conduct exams and tests regularly and find methods to enhance their teaching methods
Internships Opportunities
After 4 years of degree we have to do internship in our college for one year for which the college gives us stipend The hospital is well equipped and we are posted to all departments on rounds which provides us exposure to all kind of cases helping us to prepare and become much better doctors after passing out
Fees and Financial Aid
There are two types of seat through the NEET NTA allotment that is govt seat and private seat The govt seat - 1.5 lakh rs Private seat - 18 lakh rs This was the price in 2022 It also has management quota which varies The govt students also get various scholarships The college gives us internship in our hospital itself for 1.5 years with a stipend amount
Campus Life
The college has a beautiful infrastructure with an amazing library, skilled professors, and a very friendly ragging free environment We also have about 2-3 fests every year where all the students participate actively in all activities conducted Apart from that we have various exhibitions conducted like jnyana vignyana tantragnyana mela (JVTM) and we will also be taken to various colleges to participate in various sports and academic activities
Hostel Facilities
The hostels we stay is mostly either 3/4 sharing with each room having an attached bathroom and toilet The menu is usually veg but they provide us eggs twice a week, but they don't provide non veg The food is good The fee for hostel goes somewhere around 86k per year
Admission
Eligibility is obtained by writing NEET exam The eligibility for our college in 2022 was somewhere above 510/720 marks for a govt seat and 290+ for a private seat Reservations can be applied which might reduce the cut off for seat
Faculty
We have well qualified professors which consists of 8-9 professors in each department. They have completed their MBBS and MD in their respective core subjects All of them are very friendly with the students which makes things comfortable so that they can approach them anytime They are ready to help us out whenever we need their guidance
