Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course of MBBS as it looks difficult to outside people is really tough and stressful. I had a passion to serve people and make my parents proud. The passion and hardworking subsides the stress produced by this course. In our college, atleast there will be minimum of three months period between internal examinations which makes this course achievable.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The internship facility is provided by our own hospital inside our campus itself. As of now internship salary for medical UG students is around 12 k which is quite better as compared to other private colleges, where they make students to do internships for free.

Fees and Financial Aid

The financial structure for govt seat in our college is quite good compared to other private colleges. Tution fees is around 1,44,246 hostel fees may range around 86,000 Miscellaneous fees around 46,000.Scholarships provided by our karnataka government in the form of SSP also helps.

Campus Life

4.5

The college infrastructure is really good. Lecture halls are equipped with ac. Hospital is renovated and infrastructure is excellent with the centralised ac everywhere around. There is a huge library inside our campus named PRAGNYANA BHAVAN which has almost every book needed for our course. There will be around three fests in our college which is held every year.

Admission

I have admitted to this college through NEET. The cut-off of our college lies around 60k all india ranking in NEET for the general category. Admission procedures in our college is made easy by allotment of people in the administration department.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties of our medical college are well trained and well experienced. Small group teaching conducted by our lecturers helps us to learn the topics even more better. Tgere are almost 1 teacher to 25 students ratio in every department of our college which makes tge teaching even more efficient and effective.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
