honest review on my experience at Newton school of technology

the curriculum is very relevant to the industry. it focusses on tech stack as much as it focusses on soft skills we have subjects like professional communication and leadershiop colloiquim which will help us in the actual corporate environment.

there are many students in our batch of first year who bagged paid internships in bangalore two of them are being paid 50k per month which there are many other students also some are doing internships in web development.

the placement and internship support here is really great i know many of my friends who bagged internship in their first year itself i myself got an opportunity in my first year to work with a company the faculty and placement team provides full support to students other than this we have a paid internships of six months in the 4th semester for every student and students are being prepared for the same since the very beginning of the course

the 4 yrs fee of our course is 20 lakh but we do have scholarships available on the basis of our scores in NSAT i availed a scholarship of 20% for four years there are many students who have recieved a scholarship of upto 75% and there are students who got merit based scholarships in first year also. we do get financial assistance on extraccuricaular competitions. i have also got an internship under the COO which is a paid intenship so i am also earning while staying there on campus and studying so there are employment opportunities on campus

the campus life is really vibrant we have two fests namely Damru the annual cultural fest and then we have Neutron the tech fest we just had NEUTRON a few months ago and it was a grand success we had Nikhil D'souza and Rahul Dua performing we have many cultural and tech clubs on vcampus like music dance literary finearts the Ecell and debate club for tech we also have robotics club software development club and the competitive coding club all these clubs are very active and keep organising some or the other event through ourt the semester we do have 4 clans the entire campus is divided into 4 calns and we have inter clan competitions and interclan sports wars which i believe is one of the most crucial and fun part of our college life

the application process is quite simpel you will have to give NSAT the entrance exam in which u will be asked english logical reasoning and maths once u clear NSAT you have to appear for interview or group discussion if you perform well in both you will be selected and on the basis of that u will also be given scholarship

all our faculties are industry experts whi have worked in big companies for many years they provide us with valuable insights not just in classrooms but out side classrooms also they provide full support and guidance. They inform us of the upcoming opportunities in the industry and always motivate us to push our limits they are not just teachesr but true success mentors outside classroom they are our friends we even have students vs faculty sport matches overall the interaction between student faculty is really great

yes as mentioned before we do have NSAT the entrance test where u will be asked maths (till class 12th level) and then we have english and logical reasonong the basic motive behind NSAT is to test your aptitude after that we have an interview round where they will mostluy talk about au and your aspirations for life
