B.TECH LIFE IN AN NIT

I am pursuing my degree in the electronics and communication engineering department.And I have taken this course because of the opportunities for both software and hardware.It will be useful to me in the further studies to taken any higher degree.I have mainly interest in the electronics department.

There will be many companies visiting the college for internships like Amazon, oracle and Wipro ,Samsung.The internships mainly come for the cse students and ece students.There will be projects done by the students in their final years.And based on that if many mistakes are clarified by the faculty.

The students become eligible for campus placements from the 7 th semester.They will have the internships from the 6 th semester.There are many companies visited like Google, Amazon, Facebook, Wipro and electronics such as Samsung and more.The highest package in Ece department is 46 lpa and the average package is 11.6 lpa.The percentage of students getting placed is high in between the (93-96).My plans after getting the degree is to appear and pass the civil services.

The tution fees is nearly 62,500 per semester.It is based on the monthly income of the parents.For the people who have annual income below 1 lakh there is no tution fees for them. For the people who have income above 5 lakhs they have to pay total tution fees.And the hostel fees has to be payed bta ll the students.The complete cost for me is nearly 1 lakh per semester.There are number of scholarships available on this degree.Like reliance,ffe and many to get.I have joined in some clubs to develop my skills.

There is central library where all the books are available of all the departments.This will be opened form Monday to friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm.There will be all books suggested by the faculty to the students.The rooms in some buildings are air conditioned and not in some buildings.There are many students clubs technical and non technical clubs.They provide many skills to develop their talent in their respective routes.

The eligibility to get into the college is to take the jee mains exam and to attend the counseling process.The application form and the process is all done by the national testing agency (nta) .There are reservation benefits and seats are given on the basis of reservation which the students have.The admission process should be clear and the faculty have to take some steps to help the students who have mainly language problem.

The faculties are good in the every department.They clarifies the doubts to students not in their original class hours also.My interaction with the teachers is good and I have improved my communication skills.The student to teacher ratio is good.
