Likes

Support form teachers in overall improvement of a student.
Teachers assist in research paper writing. They will give their best to help you in research.
Extra Curricular activities: College provides a significant amount of time in extra Curricular activities which enhances the overall personality of a student.

Dislikes

Library holds some old books which are not compatible with the lastest syllabus.
No trips to have fun and enjoy a day or two with friends.

I would highly rate the curriculum in terms of relevance. I chooses machine learning course since it it highly in demand. The curriculum helped me to be skilled enough to get a job in my dream company. At the same time it helped me to focus on solving real world problems through technology.

Internships Opportunities

College provides internship after the completion of 6th semester. Number of companies offers both technical and non technical internship opportunities starting from front end, backed to a full stack developer.

Placement Experience

Placement of college was average in my batch because of the COVID -19. Students are eligible for campus placements since 7th semester. More then 200 companies visited in my batch. Around 96% students were placed in my batch.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the college stays in budget. The fee is around 75k per semester. College provides scholarships to meritorious students. My complete B.tech fee was around 10lakhs which includes all the charges (Fee, accomodation, food, transportation)

Campus Life

I really enjoyed my college life. College have multiple technical and annual festivals. One can witness an event atleast once a month. When it comes to sports college lacks a bit but again when it comes to social group or clubs they holds a significant impact in improving the overall career of a student.

Admission

One need to have atleast 60% marks in high and secondary school. One can find the application form on official website of College. One can easily apply online or offline for the admission process. The college is open from Monday to Saturday.

Faculty

All the teachers in the college are highly qualified. The teacher to student ratio is around 1:60. Teachers do their best to improve, guide and mentor a child. One can approach and Interact with teachers whenever they want.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I went for this college mainly because it is just little far from my home which is better because it near my house in just kilometres only that's why I go for this college and admission process for this college as they give scholarship of girls 5%. Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

I have applied also for Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran and mohali , Chandigarh University and Quantum University Haridwar I have got a confirm addmission in chandigarh group of colleges mohali but I haven't got admission there as it was far away from my home. Also I got registered in Quantum University by submitting 10000 registration fees but later on I have changed my college to Uttaranchal University anyhow even I don't know why even I was selected and fulfilled the criteria for all other applied colleges.
