Beautiful college but isolated from everything

The college has a very beautiful campus and a nice fee structure but the placement statistics are very bad and the management needs to work towards it.

The college is a reputed government college with a very affordable fee structure and has a beautiful campus also. It is one of the best colleges in UTTARAKHAND for engineering and has all the major branches available. The college is situated in my home state only that is why I opted to go for it.

The college is affiliated to the Uttarakhand Technical University and it has a very nice course curriculum that is required for an engineering college. Students also get a number of optional subjects in final year in which students can select the subjects they want to study

No, our college does not provide internships but regular industrial visits are organized by the college for educational purposes

The placement statistics of the college is not very good. Placements are mostly for the computer science and electronics department as most of the companies that visit the college are IT companies like Wipro, TCS etc. Government companies like BEL also visit the campus rarely

There are mainly 2 events that are celebrated in our college. One is our annual sports fest called JOSH and the other is our annual cultural fest called GOONJ beside these a technical fest called SPANDAN is also organized by the student's activity cell.

The fee structure is very affordable and that is the main reason I opted for the college in ghe beginning. The fees are very much less than any of the private colleges in UTTARAKHAND and even lesser than the iits and nits. This is one of the cheapest colleges for engineering studies

Loan facility is not offered by the college but scholarship is offered to the top 6 marks scorers of every branch every year

The gender ratio is very good in college because our college has a reservation for girls, therefore, every branch has a good gender ratio. The campus is very beautiful and the view from the college campus of the nearby hills and Himalayas is mesmerizing.

The hostels are nice and the hostel fees are also very less. The rooms are well built but the mess food is of very bad quality and sometimes it becomes very difficult to eat mess food because of the terrible taste of the food. Nearby Restaurant also provide food of very bad quality and taste

The alumni network is not very strong but the seniors share a very good relationship with all the juniors and are always ready to help them in any case.

The college conducts 2 class tests of 15 marks each and a final exam that consists of 100 marks out of which the student has to secure a minimum of 30 marks in semester exam and a total of 60 out of 150 marks that consists of 100 marks of semester exam , 30 marks of class test and 20 marks of teachers assessment and attendance

I had appeared for jee main examination in 2015 and after getting 106 marks in it I applied for UKSEE counseling which is done for admissions in engineering colleges of Uttarakhand. From there I opted for gbpec college and I got the seat in the first round itself. After this document verification process was done at the college itself.

The college has well-educated faculties. Most of the faculties are Ph.D. holders and they have sufficient knowledge of the subjects they teach. They are always available in case a student has doubt in any subject or topics being taught in college and have a very positive attitude towards solving problems of students
