Overall the college gives us lots of opportunities to excel in your field but it's up to us to grab them. We could improve the assignments evaluation process as we still using paper to submit our assignments being a computer science engineer we should have been submitting them online. The college management is fast enough you home you with documentation and other issue related to fees and academics.

Dit University is the most prestigious college of Dehradun as I was a localite so I decided to attend this University as it was more comfortable for me and I don't have to worry about paying extra for accommodation. I knew few faculties currently teaching in DIT and they gave me great insights so I decided to attend this college

We have a dit application which all the information related to the course and we are provided a booklet for syllabus and also library login which has all the books we need for our course, we also ask professors for notes they do gives us references and online material

Our gives various opportunities to student and introduce companies to 3 Rd year students for internships but usually, students have to find internships on their own.

It varies each year but this year it was great, many good companies offer amazing packages to deserving students almost all students in the case were placed, some got multiple offers from different companies .the training and placement cell has introduced a course from the second year in each semester to help us prepare for placements

We have a fest each year 'youthopia' is an event of 3 days on first days we have intercollege performance and on second and third-day various celebrity visit and perform. There are various events on these days help in our college like robo war coding competition etc. We also have a sporting week. And inter-college matches are organized

It is comparable to other north Indian colleges the hostel fees are also standard and there are no hidden and extra fees involved. It's a private institution so fees are as usual high than other public institutions but it's affordable. Even if you are not the resident of the state

Yes, scholarship is available for students with good percentage and good JEE marks for the first year from the second year onwards students are evaluated on bases of their marks in the first year

As the campus resides 20 km away from Mussoorie, so the scenery is outstanding, lots of fresh air to breathe. We have CCD and food trucks to serve our foodie needs. And lots of places to hang out nearby, in our department the gender ratio is good as in a class of 60 we have 25 girls The labs are equipped with the latest computer we have an r&d lab IBM lab and Linux and networking lab and other labs with decent computers. Robotics competition helps every year, debates and paper presentation competition are also organized. There is good participation in such events and they are fun to learn and to explore

I have had good reviews about the food in hostel mess and I have myself have visited it. They provide us with a variety of options. The hostel facilities are also proper and everything is in good condition. It's cleaned regularly and all the necessary things are provided.

Senior students who are career-oriented can guide you with events to participate courses to learn and you can discuss carrier options with them

We have on the midterm and one sessional each semester, each. The semester has two quizzes with carrying 5 marks weightage, Internal marks are calculated by marks scored in class test assignments quiz and practical, those subjects not having practical their sessional weightage is adjusted accordingly

I was selected on a merit basis, I had scored 89% in 10+2 so my selection was based on that. The admission process is easy, the first merit list is based on JEE main scores, second merit list is on basics of 10+2 results, the UK resident students with a valid domicile are given priority as 25% seats are reserved for them

The faculty is always available to help out, you can reach them by visiting their respective cabins, or simply email them if you need to contact them. Personally I just ask them after class if they are available after class and then visit them at their cabin.
