Symbiosis International Deemed university's Symbiosis Institute Of Technology is autonomous (deemed) college. Symbiosis is very much renowned. Good for placement. Best campus. Symbiosis Institute of Technology provides us bachelor of Technology instead of Bachelor in engineering.

There are total 8 semesters. In which one semester is of internship that is for six months. Every odd semester there is one open elective subject such as french, German, economics, total quality management, disaster management, environmental studies, etc.

Yes our college does provide internships. Stipend depends on the company whether it want to give it or not. Other wise basic expenses are of travelling.

Placement and job opportunities are very much better here out. Most of the current generation would like to learn for post graduation that is to apply for MS or Mtech. So sometimes companies does not get good response from college side in such situations.

Techfests are departmental wise individual fest for each - Civil, mechanical, electronic and telecommunications, computer science, information technology. Reverb is the grand cultural fest that is conducted which includes dancing, street plays, singing, etc.

Fee structure is quiet okay types. A little expensive but in return we do get best facilities of the each and every infrastructure, each and every sport,.gymnasium, swimming pool. Even the students get there insurance done itself by college. Any time medical checkup, etc

Sports scholarship is offered by our college of the student is any state or national or international level player.

Campus life is excellent. Infrastructure is so well constructed. Gymnasium, basketball court, volleyball court, football ground, cricket ground. Gender ratio is almost next to equal. No racism. Where as studebts even come from various countries for getting graduated from this college.

Hostel facilities are very nice. Rooms are three people Sharing basis. There are total 8 hostels, four for boys and four for girls. And few more are being constructed. Mess food is even of good quality. Days wise menu is fixed. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

I don't know much about alumni thing as I'm currently pursuing my engineering right now. But I'm sure there will be an alumni meet.

Exams are divided into 2 types - internal and external. Internal includes 2 unit test of 20 / 25 marks depending upon the credits of subject. Similarly external exam is of 45 / 60 marks depending upon the credits of the subject. Vivas and practicals are held before external exam.

I took admission here on the basis of Diploma im Civil Engineering. Which is direct second year entry for Btech. According to the marks obtained in diploma average is made up of 5 semesters and a merit list is announced like wise. First 13 to 15 seats are confirmed according to merit list announced depending upon the average percentage.

Faculty in each branch of engineering that is mechanical, civil, electronics and telecommunications, computer science and information technology are all minimum post graduates. All head of the departments are PhD holders in minimum 1 subject. Each and every faculty is very much supportive.
