WBJEE -2014,after passing diploma comp engg ,i sit for JELET exam 2014 & as per score i am selected here,then i have finished 2nd year & so continuing the third year as college authority allow.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is given as lecture notes by the respective teachers & also assessment from the 5 years question answers, besides these practical training are given in group in different aspects of comp software & programming. Since it is a graduation degree question of research does not arise. However we have to do project work in group which is similar to these.

Internships Opportunities

Yes,it is called campusing the training is given by different companies Tata consultancy service,infoss, wipro,webel etc.

Placement Experience

Through campusing students are being assessed by the companies through interview & scoring by the college result. About 15% of the students are recruited by campusing.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes,it is feasible semester fee is decreasing from 60,000/- to 35000 as the students from first year to third year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes,mainly punjab national bank loan is easy to avail while the student have to maintain a saving's account in the branch. Toppers in the class can apply for scholarship depending on the financial condition of the parents.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I got this college by counselling as per my WBJEE rank. This was the best college I got according to my rank and was very good.
