Likes
- The infrastructure of my college is very good and beautiful. There is a proper space for everything like a large spaced ground for outdoor games, good environment to sit and study in a library, seperate laboratory rooms for each department.
- All classes in my college are beautifully designed that one can't feel bored or anything disturbing. Students have freedom to ask and clear their doubt from their respected faculties as many times as they can. All professors are supportive here.
- Our principal sir is also very kind and supportive. He always listen to student's problem and help us in every situation. We always receives a justified solutions from him in need. He always stands for each and every students in our college.
Dislikes
- Frankly speaking the placement ratio in our college is not too high but the companies visit here and hires some of the selective students. Till now the highest package allot was 12-13 lacs per annum.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am currently studying in B.Tech electrical engineering course and it's the best experience ever in my life with beautiful memories. Our college offers different types of courses Civil engineering, Electrical engineering, Computer science engineering and electronics and communication engineerig. Each departments have proper faculty facilities and a separate labs for experiments so that the students have practical knowlege too. Extra activities are also offered to students in the form of group discussion competitions, painting competitions, music and dance competitions and many more to help the students to learn and grow.
Placement Experience
The TPO provides us various companies for placement. Students of pre-final and final years are eligible for college placement. All students get equal opportunity to participate in placement . The placement ratio is not too high here, the highest package is approx 12-13 lacs per annum. Some of the companies that visited to our college are HCL, Krishna Kripa Automation, Renix, Teachnook, Byju's, TCS, etc. The average package is approx 3 lac per annum. My plan after degree is to pursue M.tech and go for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of our college is comparatively low as compared to any other private colleges . The college provides quality knowledge with the best resource with low fee structure. We are having only 120 rs as a tution fee , 2500 rs. for one time registeration and 3700 rs. for the exam fee per semester. The students of SC/ST category have to pay 700 rs. for the exam fee per semesters. Our college also provide several government scholarships and BSCC scheme loan for better opportunity to stay and study. Our college provide proper facilities to every students but it's students responsibility to be concern about all these and take advantage and study well.
Campus Life
Our college organizes several technical festival like EXTRAVAGANZA, annual sports (TARANG), etc. for us to enjoy and learn by participating in different activities. Our college also organizes job fair for the students . The students of different colleges also get invited to participate in job fair. Proper environment is provided to the students to sit and study in library. Students can also take books from library after issued by the library card. Each classrooms are well maintained and proper hygiene is maintained within the campus.
Hostel Facilities
We are provided with every basic facilities in our hostel. I stay in Girls hostel of Government Engineering College Vaishali, and i experienced the best days of my life here. We are provided with large rooms of three beds with table-chair, two beds with table-chair and also a single rooms with table-chair. Mostly Senior students are provided with single rooms. The meal provided in our hostel is proper hygienic and well maintained. We are provided Non-veg with three alternative days for the non vegetarian students. Vegetarians are also provided with delicious foods. The taste of food and menu is overall good here. The student have to fill the hostel registration form by attaching required documents of him and his local gaurdians for taking hostel rooms. Students can also take rented room in nearby local area present around our college if they want.
Admission
The student can take admission here on the basis of their JEE MAINS score and rank. No other type of personal interview is conducted for the students to get admission here. I took admission by qualifying lateral entry examination which helps us to get admitted directly into the second year after my diploma degree.The subjects like Mathematics, English and Mechanics are important for preparing for lateral entry examination. The students can get notification of everthing regarding admission on the BCECE website. All informations regarding admissions get provided there. Two rounds of seat allotment councelling are conducted during taking admission through lateral entry. Proper time is given for selecting and to take accurate decisions for courses.
Faculty
Every assistant professors in my college is required to have M.tech degree and successfully passed the BPSC lecturer examination before joining the college. All professors are very active and take classes on time. They helps us in our lab experiments and support us in need. They are friendly to us. As exams are always conducted in a well method that they don't believe in giving extra benefits to any students. All students are treated equally here. They help us in extra curriculum activites to learn and grow. Sometimes it may happens that they don't take classes due to their personal reasons but they manage by arranging extra classes for us. They guide us with important questions for the preparation of our semester exams.
