Remarks

The grading system here is not good. It is really hard to score well here because the class strength is low (around 80) and only 3% students (that is usually only 1 person in the entire class) are granted the highest score. No matter how good your score is, if it is not the highest, you will not get the highest grade. Even if yours is 98/100 and the highest is 99/100, you will not get the O grade (10-grade point), you will only get a 9-grade point.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is appropriately set according to the relevance to the field of our study. These subjects also meet the minimum requirement set by foreign universities, for the subjects that should be completed by you to be eligible, in case you plan to pursue Masters abroad after your Bachelor's degree.

Placement Experience

4

The placements are great. Almost all the students who haven't had backlogs in their entire academic history in the college get placed with decent packages (3lac - 6 lac per annum). Some companies have visited our college twice and have selected many students. Also, some companies offer placements to students who do not have any "active" backlogs (they ignore past backlogs if there aren't any left to be cleared). The internship Semester (3rd Year 2nd Semester) is an opportunity for all of us to join companies for a 6-months Internship, and there are companies that come to our college for this as well.

College Events

5

Lohri, Holi, Ganesh Chaturthi, Garba Night are celebrated on a big scale. We all gather to celebrate these festivals in the college, for all other festivals, we get holidays to go home and celebrate. Annual Technical Fest: This is a great opportunity for us to showcase our strengths - organize events, take part in events. It spans over 2 days and is organized every year by the students of each department. Annual Sports Fest: People are most excited about the sports activities organized during this event. We get to play our favorite sport and most of the students are encouraged to participate. It is open for everyone who loves to play.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I haven't opted for any. Scholarship from the college is given to only 1 student from each department and once granted, will not be changed even if other students perform better than the student who was given the scholarship in the first place.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is good. There are always activities, seminars, competitions, opportunities lined up for us. The sports facilities - ground and sports equipment are always available and you are always free to play on the ground. The gym is accessible to all free of cost, which is great. There are a number of different labs here for us, that specialize in different subjects, that are part of our curriculum.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostels are the best you can get. The infrastructure is great and the campus is beautiful. Hostel & Mess Fees: INR 1,40,000 per annum. The food is good on some days of the week and not so good on other days. But the hygiene levels are properly maintained in the mess as well as the hostel. There is a housekeeping staff that works to keep the rooms and hostels clean without charging anything other than the annual fees.

Alumni/Alumna

Some teachers keep in touch with the senior students and are eager to help us by connecting us to them in case of any guidance or help that we might need. The seniors in college are friendly and always willing to help as well.

Admission

There are 2 ways you can get admission in this college: 1. SITEEE - Symbiosis Entrance Test (Merit-based) - Counselling during May 2. JEE Mains Score - Counselling during June There are a limited number of seats in each department - approximately 120-140 in each of the 4 departments. Based on your merit you will be called upon and will be asked the Department of your choice. If the seats are still available, you will be granted admission to the department of your choice.

Faculty

4

They put a lot of effort to improve the learning experience for all of us. There are guest lectures that are organized, where we have Guests coming in from the industry. Through these seminars, We are able to get insights into the Industry relevant technologies, which are very helpful.
