To the most amazing four years of my life!

No bad remarks!! Only good remarks. SIT has not only made me good academically but also helped to grow as an individual. I feel very happy and feel blessed that I was a part of such a lovely family i.e Symbiosis.

The Curriculum and Exam Structure in SIT is very research driven with more emphasis being given on the projects which makes it very easy to grasp the concepts and gives in insight to whatever theory that is being studied in the lectures making learning more fun and interactive.

The placement of the college was one of the major reasons of me joining SIT. The placements are top-notched and way ahead of the colleges of the same league. Leading companies like Microsoft, Dell, Persistent, Vodafone, Veritas, Symantec visiting the college and hiring the students in large number.

SIT has a rich culture of events and forms a perfect blend of over the top arts and sports culture. The events are usually top-notched with a separate dedicated organizing committee for the same. The various events held are- Lohri, Navratri including the special Garba dance!! Other then these SIT also has the annual college Tech-fest by the name of Reverb.

The college fees for the first year was Rs. 2,10,000 as a part of the academic fees and Rs. 1,00,000 as a part of the hostel and mess fees. Apart from this, the miscellaneous expenses can vary from student to student. But with the kind of food served in the college mess, there would not much need to spend more.

No scholarship or education loan availed. However, the college provides the scholarship to meritorious students of all the branches. The college provides a 50% fee waiver to all the students availing scholarship.

Remarkable is the word I'd like to describe the last four years here in college. SIT is blessed with the extraordinary infrastructure and the lovely weather of Pune. The gender ratio is 70-30 with the latter being the feminine ratio. SIT is also blessed with rich and cultured diversity with people coming from all parts of the world. People involved in extracurricular activities will have a lot to cheer about with the facility of table tennis tables, snooker tables in all the hostel blocks. The campus has a magnificent cricket ground built at the edge of the hill.

Seniors became a part of the family. Since the first day of the college, all the seniors were very helpful to be it arranging the books, guiding on how to survive the four years with good marks or the correct technique in the Gym.

SIT has an entrance exam by the name of SET. I was rigorously preparing for my boards that is when i came to know about SET, also i was preparing for Jee Mains so preparing for SET was not something going off the track. NCERT forms the foundation for SET. The admission process involves getting a good score in SET followed by the counseling where branches are allotted on the basis of SET score.

The faculty of the college is the most co-operative and helpful faculty that I've ever had. I've personally contacted the faculty as late as 12 at the night and getting the most cheerful reply. The faculties are not only helpful with academics but also are more than happy to guide with daily problems.
