Sujit Thorve's Review On Smt Kashibai Navale College Of Engineering - [SKNCOE] Vadgaon, Pune

Yeah you have to keep your attendance above 70% otherwise your department will contact to your parents. But I think with this kind of college background anyone would hardly miss it.

My tuition teacher where I was studying told me about this college. his opinion about the SKNCOE was good. He told me about some alumni of him who were taken admission there. When I actually came across students who have completed degree from SKNCOE there reviews were also positive towards the college. So I decided to take admission here.

Actually here in SKNCOE you have to go branch wise i.e. department level observations should be done. In departments like MECH and ENTC good focus is given on extra curricular activities too along with curricular things like practice of exams etc.But if you take a look in IT And COMP dept. it's all about curricular activities only. You can join student association called SSC to be part of organising body of various extra curricular activities.

College has little but collaboration with some companies who provide the internships. So most of students prefers INTERNSHALA Site to get internships.

Yeah college has good placement records. Recently placement activities for current year happened where almost 70 students were placed from our IT dept. Which is almost 60 percent of students out of all. Average package given by companies is 3.6 lacs per annum. If we consider COMP Dept they have much better placement records than the other departments.

Here you will see various events are celebrated with joy and enthusiasm. Mainly SINHGAD KARANDAK is the most awaited event for all the students where you would have EDM night,DJ nights,Dramas,Dance performances etc. Also SINHGAD CARNIVAL is one more event which is arranged for new comers in college i.e. freshers.

Fee structure in SKNCOE is feasible to all because local Maharashtrian students have many scholarships to apply. Fees for open is arround 1 lac and you can pay it in installments or can oay one stroke too. As compared to various top colleges in pune I can say this College has cheaper fees than those ones.

As college is approved by DTE it has various scholarship opportunities provided by DTE itself. You will have fee waiver scheme also fee reduction scheme too if you are getting fit in it's criteria.

If you ask about campus I'll say this is one of the best campus in Pune city. You will have good green lush environment throughout the campus. Also College has various sports grounds like cricket,football,tennis etc. Also you can Join NSS which is a team devoted towards public welfare.

Yeah Hostel facility has some drawbacks but overall it is good. With the exception of bad food in some of mess I will suggest this hostel facility is really good for middle class students. As compared to other colleges Hostel charges are really feasible to all students. But beware of 2-3 messes where you will get very bad food too.

Yeah in many events of college you will come across aluminis who are really helping and humble to all the freshers.

College has hard working exam section. College conducts various practice exams so as to make students capable of doing well in forthcoming exams. In IT department you see well active exam coordinators who are there to conduct more and more practice exams before the final University exam

Actually you have to go through complete procedure directed by DTE MAHARASHTRA which is the governing body of Engineering colleges.As soon as CET results were declared I filled online application at DTE Site where I had to give preference choices. After that seat allocation round took place where students were informed about there allocated college.

With some exceptions all the faculty members in SKNCOE are good at teaching as well as conversation with students. You will many faculties are persuing there PHD or have done with it. Here in SKNCOE special gesture is given to PHD holder. Teaching is done with the help of PPTs through projector as well.
