Likes

Teachers were very helpful and and well educated
College students were displined and helpful.
Canteen was very spacious and served great food.

Dislikes

Infrastructure was terrible. Building needs to be taken care of.
Washrooms were not clean. Some of them even didn't had locks inside.
Admin staff sucks at their job. They need to pay more attention on their work

The course I chose was mathematics honours and I'm glad that I chose ANDC for my graduation. Syllabus offered by the course was very wast. I used to enjoy spending my time learning in the classroom. ANDC's faculty made me love my course.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 24000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee was 8k for a year and the exposure I got was incredibly good. The college provides scholarship for the students who belong to the economically weaker section. The college do not offer placement after completion of course.

Campus Life

I had a great campus life. I had many friends who made my campus life fun. The college has many societies which organises fun events for the students. Events are organised with enthusiasm and fun games and stalls are also included.

Admission

Admission process was smooth for me as I got admitted on the basis of merit. I secured decent marks and got admission in the college. College do not conduct interviews or group discussion rounds. As now the trend are changed, CUET Score matters.

Faculty

Teachers were very helpful and well educated. The faculty to student ratio was not well maintained. Teacher's were very hardworking and they actually helped me. I used to interact with teacher's on a daily basis and felt very safe and comfortable around them.

Placement Experience:

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Well you need to very lucky to have been a part of Sri Venkateswara college.Only think we missed back then was auditorium and hostels which am sure are there now.A very positive and caring vibe you got.Reddy Sir our principal in last few months invited me to share tirupati prasad he got that was the level and depth of community interaction and love.

Best college of DU for Mathematics

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game

College life in Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC), DU

This college was no.1 in my CUET preference list. I did few other courses for safer side but this course as well college was my top choice as it covers a lot of areas which are taught in MBBS and is quite interesting. Delhi University has 3 colleges for Biomedical Sciences, in which ANDC is the top college in terms of ranking that's why out of all three colleges this was my first choice. A few other options that I kept for me was microbiology, biochemistry in colleges such as Gargi and Deshbandhu. The college accepts your scores from CUET in subjects biology, chemistry and physics. The acceptance is done on the basis of your scores as well as your preference list. As this college was first on my preference list, I didn't get to face any rejection. The cutoffs for my admission year of 2024 was around 425+ for general category....Read More
