Likes

The educational environment is great specifically for engineering students , all the facilities majorly focuses on placements and one's prepration.
The placement for engineering grads are very good , various students get selected in top MNCs.
The campus is very good. It provides many opportunities except studies too like sports or any extra circular.

Dislikes

Some students get some benefits of being favoured by faculties among all the students.
Their was serious issue regarding college timings, In extreme cold weather stil the college start from 8 o'clock in the morning to 6 o'clock in the evening.

Course Curriculum Overview

Being an engineering student,I get to experience both practical and theoretical knowledge throughout my journey. Geu provides great academic curriculum for learning. We have fully equipped computer labs, chemistry lab, physics lab . We have 2 time exam in a particular semester. Although the difficulty level differs from subject to subject but I'll admit they are little hard also the evaluation is also not lenient.

Class Size: 74Course Fees: INR 190000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I will admit that fees for any particular degree is high. As a engineering student, my fees are very high but it also provides various scholarships for students like girl child, single mother,army background and scholarship based on your academic too. The fees get raise of 10-15000 per year , again which is very costly.

Campus Life

All over the college life is good . It has a great campus. It has many extra curricular clubs based on your preferences . They also have NCC and NSS units . Except for all the academics , they provide annual summer fest basically called as grafest which is a huge fest . Various big celebrity are invited every year .

Admission

It doesn't have any entrance exam, but have some criteria based on 10,12 marks . The admission process is very easy. All the information are provided on geu portal or anyone can contact admission cell.

All the facilities are highly qualified in their respective fields. All the facilities are very friendly and available anytime for queries or any help. Every faculty has their own way of teaching and every faculty is skilled in it

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I always wanted to pursue engineering, so after 12th I wanted to join B. Tech as my course. Then I started to search for the best universities for the course I wanted to pursue, then I came to know about Graphic Era deemed to be University.
