As I said earlier the life here is good and people are friendly. The management of people are also helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is up to date. The exams are strictly conducted. And every activity takes place according to the academic calendar which is set before the start of the semester. The college provided me with a lot of soft skills and all the activities in the college helped me open up and gain better confidence.
Placement Experience
The placements here are very good. There a lot of companies like Anand group, Capgemini, Dell, Indian navy coming into our college. You would have to maintain a good academic record to get in to the good companies.
College Events
There is a fest called reverb which happens in the month of September every year. A lot of celebrities and DJs attend the festival. There is also technical fest which happens in the month of March. There is also a lot of sports fest like Prota which happens in March. Other than that a lot of events are celebrated by gathering everyone in the seminar hall
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for first year is around 2,80,000 for non hostelites and bus fees of around 22,000 for the whole year depending on where you live in the city. The fees for hostelites goes to around 4,30,000. The facilities given in the campus like swimming pool football ground basketball ball volleyball ground are good.
Fees and Financial Aid
I had not got a scholarship offer. However, if you are the topper of your respective branch you would definitely get a scholarship offer from the institute. In the scholarship, 50% of the academic fees will be laid off.
Campus Life
The campus itself is too huge and hygienic. We have a coffee Day in our campus. And there is also a restaurant called symbi eat where many people go out and chill. The faculty encourages you to take part in a lot of extracurricular and technical events. Most of the events are organized by the students which help us to gain a lot of experience in organizing.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are friendly and helpful in organizing various events and in the initial days they help you know a lot about our college.
Admission
I had taken the symbiosis institute of technology's entrance test which is popularly called as sit entrance test. It usually happens in the month of May. The admission can also be taken through MH-CET and JEE scores. After that, you will have to fulfill various criteria like minimum 45 percentage above marks in PCM like mentioned on the college website. Admission process takes place in the month of June
Faculty
The faculty here are very friendly and helpful. I can also approach them after hours of college. Any doubts regarding academics or sports would be cleared by the faculty. There is a mentor assigned to every 15-20 students who help you even with your personal problems.
