I choose this course because i like mechanical engineering and i want to work in the field of mechanical engineering the end semester exam are held in the college and the difficulty level of the exam is moderate

Internships Opportunities

Mainly one project is made by the students in the final year of there course and internship opportunities are available only for those stuents who are good in studies and there is no internship opportunities as such available

Placement Experience

From 7 semester students become eligible for campus placements the average as per company is 4-5 lacs per annum percentage of students getting placements id 40-50% as the place is remote so the no. Of company visited is not too much

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees is 31000 and the hostel fees is 18000 in this college and there is not such increase in the fees from h certain period of time mainly scholarships are for reservation students and there is not campus employment i have undertaken

Campus Life

The annual fest of the college is named goonj which held in the month of may and sports fest is also held which named josh in the month of September or October and tech fest is also held in the college in the month of April

Hostel Facilities

The facilities provided in room is a cot and a table and a almirah for one person the food of the mess is not so good and food is provided 4 times a day the registration process of the hostel is done in the starting of the semester and fees is 18000

Admission

The eligibility of the course is jee mains you should have given jee mains and the admission process is done by jee mains the application form is in the site gbpiet the cut off is different for different course for computer science engineering the cut off is highest

Faculty

The faculty of the college is well educated and there teaching skills are also good mainly interaction with teachers is in the class room and we can also go to there cabin for some queries and faculty of the college is supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I applied for this college only as my parents allowed for this one only as it is closer to my home. The college lacks a bit in terms of infrastructure as compared to other colleges in the region. The placements are not good enough. To take admission into Btech 1st year in this college, one needs to give JEE Mains exam and UKSEE for lateral entry and 12th merit is accepted for admission in Biotechnology.
