Biotechnology is a great domain for those who are interested in life sciences or life processes and also in manufacturing the curriculum here is through the point and it prepares well for real World applications or any other sort of further academic pursuits , there are exams held every three months and the level of difficulties of these exams are not upto that extent

Internships Opportunities

There are great factors offered in life sciences division along with information technology sector . Companies such as Capgemini , cognizant and others offer paid stipend of internship . The college itself provides internship in the campus it self. For life sciences the iser itself provides internship facilities

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees of the college is relatively great ie much higher specifically for biotechnology division about 1 lakh 50 thousand for an year including all the types of forms , evaluations etc . There are many other types of scholarship programes or financial aids provided by the college. There is no such campus employment factor.

Campus Life

There are many fests or events held but the plus point is it doesn't interfere with the academic activities of the individual. The library is well developed and well equipped as it provides a great range of books and journals without facing any issue . The classrooms are also well equipped with smart boards and etc . And also there is great scope and opportunities for sports and extracurricular activities

Admission

The eligibility for the course is much more simple as the individual just has to clear his twelth standard for BSC programes . There is no such type of reservation that can cause any difficulties for addmission. The application form can be filled online itself in the college website ie www.dpucampuserp.in . The exams held are not that difficult and also are held in regular intervals of 3 months approx

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio of the college is great as of there are 2 faculties for each 45-50 students and also the faculties approach to make the most of the given data is great the approach is great and there is no such barrier between the following people for clarification of the doubts

Student of our college become eligible for placement in the third year hardly any companies visit every year about two three types of role offered in some companies at our included software support software engineer and some other department it's heads package around 1.5 lakhs per annum and overall only about 12% student prefer looking for a punctuary of compass after completing my degree how would like to find the suitable job in IT field I actually interest

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

from 6th semester students are eligible for placement. multiple MNCs come for placements like deloitte, berger, reliance, ernst and young, etc. highest packasge is around 9 lakhs pa and median package is about 3.5 lakhs pa. maximum students who sit for placement gets placed. i will be pursuing masters degree after my bachleors.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
