Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose this course because i really want to learn language and i want to know more about South Korea and i also wants to visit it. With this course I'm also preparing for government jobs too. This curriculum teaches me that only little learning is not enough, we need changes in our self , a major change from academic to personality.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

I can't say on this because as I'm still a 1st year student and don't know much about it because i haven't get one. But yes some seniors have got internships through professor contacts . But only a few students get internships not all.

Placement Experience

2.5

I can't really say anything on it because I'm a 1st year student and hadn't experienced placement or anything like that yet. But yes my some of the seniors are in good company and one of my senior is working after completing his bachelor's degree and earning a good amount of money. My plans after getting the degree is to work in embassy while pursuing MA

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees are very low and government takes care of everything. There's no fees hikes in jnu because if it does then the protest against it also happened. 648 for tuition fees per annum, hostel fees 2400 per annum, mess bill 2000-4000 per annum only. In every department there's is some scholarships, in korean department there's is many scholarships like POSCO, GKS etc. Jnu also provides MCM to those students whose parents are not in government jobs and belongs to middle class poor family, whose income is less. They provide 2000 per month.

Campus Life

5

Many festivals of every religion, states and others are held in JNU. JNU is full of campus life. You can experience camping, marathon, quizes, drama, dance, singing, skating, sports and many others. JNU has India's biggest library, Dr. BR Ambedkar Library. Jnu has better classrooms in some centers and in some not. Many students run singing or dancing clubs, skating clubs etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I'm in Koyna hostel which is the most better hostel in jnu for girls and it's rent is so cheap. Rooms are dual, and also a balcony is there, furnitures are good. Quality of food is depend on the mess Secretary and manager, it's some times good or bad. Menu is also better except lunch menu. Hostel process is late, you can't hostel on the day of admission but you will get dormitory. JNU is in Delhi and Delhi is so costly to rent or have PG.

Admission

Eligibility of the course is that you should pass the 12th with 60% to opt this course. You'll find every detail related to jnu on it's official website. Reservation benefits for SC-ST, OBC, EWS, gilrs, and the students who belongs to quartile district. Exam is conducted by NTA through CUET and the time may vary according to your subjects. Exam is not that difficult. Physical verification takes a long process and it's too time taking.

Faculty

4

The ratio of faculty to students is good. It don't impact on our learning experience. Most of the professors are good in their teaching fields except some professors who do discrimination among students. I interact with every teachers and they're so kind and friendly with us. They also helps us in our studies.

Other Applied Colleges

English and Foreign Languages University - [EFLU] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Korean)

Because JNU is Top university in India in rank wise and also JNU provides more Opportunity then any other college. JNU has better facilities and the fees are very low. EFLU is costly than JNU. JNU provides better learning then EFLU.

Central University of Jharkhand - [CUJ] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Korean)

CUJ don't provide better learning, also it's very costly than JNU. It doesn't provide better opportunity and it's campus is also so small than JNU.

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
