I did not take any exam to get through this college. I passed my 12th and filled the form here and got selected.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was good. It was really a great experience being a student of this college. We had assignments on different subjects, we had workshops where people from different streams participated and showed their passion, Finance, Marketing, Business.
Internships Opportunities
In this course, we did not have to do any internship, however, various workshops were organised by the college which were very interactive, but without any stipend.
Placement Experience
I can say it is the best here. I, myself got placed from college. We had a lot of companies coming to college, and I believe one prepares well can easily get through a good company.
College Events
Like every college, our college also has the annual fest. In addition to this, we had a lot of extra events that used to go on continuously throughout the year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure during my time was feasible. A normal middle class family could have easily afford to get make their child study in this college. In fact, this was shown in the strength, we had 700 people in B.Com.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yeah, Symbiosis had a very good Scholarship concept. I did not use it though. The process is simple, there are people in the college specially assigned for these work.
Campus Life
Campus life is more about making new friends, roaming around the town, sitting with friends talking for hours. We had a lot of competitions, debates, and more such activities going on throughout the year. My college had 2 different campuses (Symbiosis Law School and our college in one branch), and this was one of the major reason of having so many activities going on.
Hostel Facilities
I did not opt for Hostel facility when I went to college. I used to live with some of my friends on a sharing basis.
Alumni/Alumna
I should say, my seniors were very helpful and I have already mentioned about the teachers. They used to share their experiences when they were in our class. I am still friends with many of my college seniors.
Exam Structure
We used to have 2 exams in a year - Internal and External. Internal exams was of 60 marks and external was of 80 marks. Internal was converted to 20 marks.
Faculty
The faculty was very helping. They are with the students at each step to provide help.I am still in touch with a few of my faculties from college. Teachers used to organize debates, workshops to engage the students.
