Entrance Preview
I chose to go to a university because I like being part of a large group and diverse student body. The world is a big place, just like my university and the parallels between the two would better help prepare me for post-college life in the real world. Also, my university has a really strong school of sciences, and I wanted to study under the best minds in the country.
Internships Opportunities
No graphic era does not provide any internship you have to find out on your own they only provide you noc.
Placement Experience
Seriously talking from previous year placement is not good in gehu. Only a few CS/IT company come. It is very rare that any core company come to provide you a good package. But gehu provide personality development and training classes which help a lot in future.
College Events
The events that celebrated in our college are Grafest,department day, freshers, farewell, quize, plays , competition like dancing,singing,modeling,scrapyard,junkyard,treasure hunt,coding,gaming,debate,workshops and many more cultural and technical events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is different for different courses . Example for B.tech course all india fee is approx 1lakh per sem where as for uttarakhand students it is approx 75k per sem. You can pay fee by demand draft, online, cash or by cheque after confirming your fees you get slip from office.
Fees and Financial Aid
A Scholarship is only offered to toppers in college or to students which have good percentage in 12 while taking admission. No loan facility is provided.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are pretty cooperative and helping. But some alumni are lazy and some have attitude. But also some are very good experienced.
Exam Structure
In gehu every semester have 2 exams mid-term exams and end term exams also with practicals. If you fail or debarred in any exam you have to give back after one sem, means you can only give odd sem back exam in next odd sem exam similarly for even sem.
Admission
Admission process in graphic era hill university is done on the basis of 12marks. There are counseling held on specific date in which you can enter after filling an application form online or offline after that on your percentage basis and your requirement desired course is given to you.
Faculty
The faculty of gehu is good depending on your course and branch. In my case mechanical faculty is not that good in teaching theory classes but in practicals they are awesome. But computer faculty is very good in gehu proper knowledge and experience. Although in engineering its all depend on you.
