- The first improvement is about the college road and its playground because as a college it don't have a playground to practice games and all ..The improvement in no. of classes in highly required
- There are many group and clubs to get in one of those is YUVA and other is Megatronix where the senior teach you how to make dummy robot etc..Quiet good experience..
- The faculty of 2nd year is awesome and as Data structures are the main subject and some teachers are wonderful..but in 1st year the pps teacher was truly a hell
Dislikes
- Non ac classrooms make you feel like you are in heater and the fans also are not absolutely good
- During rainy season the whole campus feels like we will dive in the water
- The cigarette adda where the students and teachers together smokes and its not good from my point of view
Course Curriculum Overview
The MSIT is famous for its ECE branch as every year the highest package gets out from ECE department and our ECE department also get the Best Excellence award 2023 in west bengal. Lets suppose a teacher is teaching Graph theory then the teacher gives the real life approach why and where should we implement that which makes the concept picture clear and the teachers also involve students to find out some unique things of the topic . The improvement required is in the BSH department of MSIT .
Fees and Financial Aid
This plays a vital role in the admission session of this college.This clg gives the admission based on wbjee ranking and class 12th merit .At the first time of admission u have to pay more than 80000 as your first semester fee while every year this changes a little amount. In this college there is a co curricular course named as moocs which acquires rs 1250 per sem and it's a mandatory course.Along with that every year about fees increase by 20000 . Loans are provided by bank and verification is done by college very easily Must maintain your CIBIL SCORE above or 700 to get easily the benefits of loan .
Campus Life
The Freshers party also known as FOOTPRINTS which occurs to test the skills and upcase your field of Interest. The Freshers party include some meals during interval. The official music club SARGAM gives a energetic performance. Every 2 month there is a fest but the largest Technical fest is PARIDHI which is Bengal's top class fest in technical field literally my experiences there was terrific The Robo wars are out of imagination The library provides the whole term book and there is no shortage of class books . Librarian are also responsible and ready for help. The sports club involves MCL MSL and Fresher's cup which is like a Real football tournament auctions are done and many more sports facilities but requires a group to practice If the college cares about Sports club it will soon find a good Sports field soon.
Admission
The eligibility of this course is You must have given west bengal joint entrance examination (wbjee) and must ranked below 50000. On the merit based u can get admission having 80-85 percentage in H.S. On the basis of Donation Admission can be taken. There is a Criteria of TFW students who can take admission during counseling and the profit is that u have to give 10%of the total fee ..Its the most amazing thing of WBJEE.
Faculty
The class gets divided into 2 batches during any practical class which makes teachers and students interaction good and some faculty are very sincere regarding our studies while some don't even care, The teaching methodology are very authentic..As i am the CR of my class i can say that the behaviour of teachers towards class is too good ..They bother and care students and always try their best to show better example of engineering on which they are teaching the topic.
