Remarks

If you are a good student and can't get college in north and south campus respective then this college is best of the rest and we have the best auditorium in university.

Entrance Preview

I wanted the college in Delhi University but unable to get in north campus but due to proximity to my home, I choose this college. And infrastructure was good enough to attract me. Nice college but beware of ill effects. There are some students who are street smart so beware of them

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It is kinda good. We are taught different subjects like history, political science but nothing too extraordinary. In the first semester you have 2 main subjects then you have environmental studies paper then English as compulsory afterwards you re free to choose your subjects

Internships Opportunities

Yes but only for, management courses and to economic honours students. Companies which came were TCS and some management companies. You should be very alert during Gd s they are hectic

Placement Experience

1.5

Not good. Don't keep your expectations high. Some companies came last year but the number of students who got the job was pretty low. There were some problems of quality of students so if you are the good student you will get but you can't be sure as this is the management issue.

College Events

4

College fest, freshers party, NCC day, Republic day, Gandhi Jayanti, Independence day, Founders day, Annual function etc. Many other things are celebrated in our college which is pretty interesting like photoshopping contest, art and culture fest etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very minimal. As compared to private institutions fees is nothing. Fees for economically backward class students are even less. If you are in problem college is more than happy to help you. Thus your expenses are not that much which is a sigh of relief for all the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

SC/St scholarship are available for financially backward students. But for general students, there are not that many opportunities. But if you perform academically good then you can be eligible for some scholarships.

Campus Life

1.5

The gender ratio is balanced. Students from different places come to study. Extracurrcal activities are the best thing about college. Labs are well maintained and software is preinstalled. The sports complex is also present which provides studnetas to practice their respective sports.

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel facilities are not available, hence no mess food. But as college is situated in the posh area of Ashok Vihar, there are various PG nearby and lunch box facilities are also available. Restaurants are also present for luxuries of students. Thus students will not encounter any problems.

Alumni/Alumna

No, that much. You can avail but they are not very helpful. Some seniors are helpful and go the extra mile to help you but some are not. So choose wisely which students you want to take help of.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is nice which test our analytical ability. All papers consist of 100 marks out of which 25 marks are of internal. Paper is medium in difficulty level and can be high scoring. Last year papers are repeated. but make sure to attend classes as they can help you understand various topics.

Admission

Admission is done on merit basis. The criteria are marks in class 12. College gives the cutoff list the eligible students can come for verification and get admission in college. Registration is done on university site then college is directed. Not too lengthy.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is really goods. Teacher clears our doubt on the spot. I would rate 8/10. Economics and maths faculty is really good. Teachers are experienced and you make sure that you have understood what they have taught in class. thus they are very frank with us.

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
