Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is really good and teachers basic aspects of civil engineering . The contact hours are well distributed so the pressure of studies is not too much the exams are twice semester and the difficulty level is moderate to high
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are really good and join an internship in the third year of your course .many companies are invited to campus for hiring interns. Recently companies like Google Nvidia Rippling came to campus and provided up to 100000 per month stipend
Placement Experience
The student can sit in placement in the last year of the course. Campus hiring is really good companies like Google, Accenture , oracle , rippling also come to the campus and offer good package to students. Recently Oracle offered 64 lakh packages and average package is around 12 to 15 lacs. My plans after getting the degree is too gain some work experience and decide to opt for either Indian Engineering services or business school
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee is around 1.15 lakhs but institute of first various financial supports. For economical weaker section the institute provides two third to full waiver on tuition fees which really support the students
Campus Life
There are three fest held that are Alma Fiesta, wissiniere, e-summit. These are the cultural and technical face of our institute. There are there is a good library maintaining most of the books that are required throughout the course and a lot of resource generals. The library keeps updating itself frequently. The classrooms are very good and equipped with modern technology like smart boards projectors and the laboratories are equal to fully functional equipment.
Hostel Facilities
It is compulsory were all the students to reside within the IIT campus. The room Hera single accommodation and for students opting for post graduation there are Sangam hostels where they can stay with their spouse. The hostel charges minimal and the Mess charges are 18000 rupees for each semester. The room will have a fan a table a chair and bed with a small balcony and the small window. The room also as a cupboard with enough storage
Admission
The entrance exams needed to qualify are jee advanced and mains. You can find forms on nta website. Categories like SC ST OBS and women have reservation. SC and ST categories have huge reservation like they need less than half marks for same branch l.
Faculty
Faculty student ratio is really good and since appointment of the new director it has been increasing and more and more facilities are being hired . All faculty are highly qualified some of them are from IIT and other are from foreign institutes. Faculties are really supportive and really helpful with research
