Entrance Preview

I took JEE entrance exam 125. Because its a government institution and i want to do MBA later. I am crazy about mechanical engineering.i like to build things more of a practical person.

Course Curriculum Overview

Great mechanical engineering is an evergreen research sector. I have a keen interest in automobile sector. I am good at designs via softwares. And working in sae baja team. I need sponsors for my team. I am good at leadership and management.

Internships Opportunities

I got a chance to get an internship and training in vecv (volvo and eicher commercial vehicles) through my contacts. Other colleges have proper training and placement cells.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. 23k college fee. 13k mess and hostel per semester. Fee is not much but the problem is less fee is the reason why people don't take a stand against the poor facilities and living conditions in our hostels.

Campus Life

Gender ratio 7:3 (boys:girls). Students from Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Badminton and table tennis. Football ground Labs need repair.

Exam Structure

2 class tests and 1 final per semester. There is only one lab or practical test with viva otherwise there is main theoretical test and no projects before last semester. The schedule is not hectic.6 days are working and classes till 5 in the evening from 9 in the morning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I applied for this college only as my parents allowed for this one only as it is closer to my home. The college lacks a bit in terms of infrastructure as compared to other colleges in the region. The placements are not good enough.
