Glimpse of IIT Guwahati

Placement of our course is so high, an average of 22 lakhs which is second after Computer sciend curriculum is relevant for those , who want to go in core jobs, otherwise for tech field , it is not relevant curriculum should be updated , ai ml minor should be given to every student after 20 dayss we have quiz 1 , mid sem , quiz 2 , end sem

Google , microsoft , quant , goldman sach ,hamilton etc and all public sector companies such as RBI etc come during intern selection . private sector gives minimum stipend of 30000 , while public sector give 25000 minimum. AI ML development , share market analysis etc are some projects offered

Placements are to good in our campus , After 6th semester , official campus placement started . Google, microsoft, quant, Hamiltan , goldman sachs etc faang companies come in our campus , last year 1112 offers got made for 1425 students . Highest placement is of 2.4 cr given by uber india and average package is 21 lakhs over 81 percent got placed. I have to start own venture.

I am paying 114000 per year. Tution fee is 66000 , caution fee is 12000, registration fee is 1000, admission fee is 1500 , development fee is 2000 , lab fees is 5000 rupees , hostel fee is 7000, Medical fee is 1900. My batchmates are paying around 248000 per year . There are two types of scholarships avail in college 1.IMS , given to branch topper every year , tution fees got waiver and stipend got paid 2.SC ST scholarship, given to every sc st student, only hostel fee are going to charge 3. McM scholarship , given to top 25 percent sc st student of college, stipend got paid

We have ALCHERINGA , greatest fest in northeast , Techniche is for techinal , biggest in north east , lasting for 1 week combinally. All books are available in our library , Lakshmikanth library , biggest library of north east We have a projector in our classroom as well black board , both combined Sports facilites are very good , every sport have his club , and trails are taken for inter iit competition . There are 3 SAC in our college. We also social service club, which distribute mainly college item for free which is used by senior , for example ED kit

Our room is on ground , we have 4 bathroom for each floor , mainly 1 bathroom for 16 students , our room is for two people , we have 3 light in our room, one fan , two almirah , two bed s, two study table , two chairs , two ethernet port , two switches , two bulbs for free Mess food quality is good , but menu is not good , mainly inclined to south food Hostel are alloted automatically and very affordable , they have all facilities like gym , library etc.

I got IIT guwahati by josaa counselling , which is my 15 th preference, I want to go to IIT Kanpur, but not got into it by 23 rank , this year jee advance cut off got so high , and so many drama in josaa counselling . You can got admission in my college , by giving jee advance, every PCM student can give it , but for 2 times selection ratio is 1 :100 , overall admission is very difficult as jee advance is very difficult

1-20, Faculties are highly knowledgeable , all have atleast master degree ,but student faculty relation are moderate , we have to deal with assitant , before reaching to them I like tony jacob sir , he have some cool trick to study , without any book and slides , but teach every thing , he is our faculty of electical course, physics and physical chemistry faculties are very good I did not like sweta mam, she doesnt know how to teach students. there are 4 exams in every semester , they are so difficult to pass , but they are revelant in curriculum
