- Some Hostels of this college are old buildings and need renovated.

Course Curriculum Overview
Courses offered here are same as other nits. In civil enginnering, we have 6 theory subjects with 3 labs or 5 theory subjects with 4 labs which always changes with the semester. In final year there are only 4 theory subject with one project under any professor.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is better for IT branches in our college and lower for the core ones. But the intern offers are very good and with a good stipend offered for the students. Due to the rles and regulations of our college's Training and Placement cell, we cannot disclose company name or other details.
Placement Experience
As the name tag of a Nit is sufficient for companies to visit our college, placements are very good in this college. Only problem we face is the location of our college which is far away from main cities but rather then placement is very good. My plan after degree is simple. Earn that much money that you don't have to count before giving anywhere.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure of our college is same as other NITs and IITs. There are 3 categories of fee paying students which are as follow: 1) Students with income above 5 lacs have to pay an annual fee of Rs144000 \. 2) Students with income between 1 to 5 lacs have to pay an annual fee of Rs80000. 3) Students belonging to Sc/St categories and with annual income less than 1 lac have to pay an annual fee of Rs11000/.
Campus Life
We have two main college fest which are Tecnoesis as technical fest and Incandescence as cultural fest. There are 15 clubs and societies in this college with their own typ like dancing club singing club art club etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are not the best but are good and you wont feel any problem except the mobile network. Ofcourse we have lan network in every room but if you want to call someone you have to go out of your room for this.
Admission
Admission in our college is based on the rank obtained in JEE Mains and through JOSSA/ CSAB counselling. I got this college in CSAB round and I had three options available for civil engineering whom I can got through my JEE rank but I have some bonding with nature and this college is so clg to the pure nature that i couldn't drop this one.
Faculty
Faculties here are very experienced and there are a large number of faculties for each subject with 5 to 6 teaching assistants(Mtech and Phd students) so there is a good faculty too student ratio. Exam pattern of our college is a bit tough as we have to appear for our five or six exams in continuous days without a break and that is very stressful.
