Course Curriculum Overview

4

All subjects are relevant yo Industry and are very learnable. You must focus on core subjects as well as mathematical subject for marks and good SGPA. You will think in start that it is not helpful but believe me it will pay you in Placement process.

Internships Opportunities

4

Untill now I jave seen and was given opportunity for PTC, Quick heal, BMC, cognida.ai etc. college also encourage for off campus internships but be careful while joining internship it would affect your CGPA and then placement process due to lower CGPA. There are many projects in curriculum you should make them seriously and add them in resume.

Placement Experience

4

Every final year student gets the opportunity for placement if they have 7+ CGPA. And if you have 8.5+ CGPA you will get every opportunity. 150+ companies come for placements. And from 150. 5-6 will be mass recruiter. You should maintain relationship be s good student and have a good CGPA of 8.5+. Please take the CGPA seriously and be 8.5+.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a TFWS STUDENT, I have scholarship for th tution fees from government. The General catagory students pay 97000 per year but I pay 13081 every year due to my higher percentage. The obc students get 50% off on tution fees they pay around 55000-60000 per year. And Sc/st students pay only 2500-3000 per year. There are 5 percentage seats for TFWS and 10 percentage seats for EWS STUDENTS.

Campus Life

3.5

There are too many clubs but choose wisely. Many clubs do help in confidence building, connection, placement. But some clubs only consume time and try to increase their size only. There are many sports supported by college and you will get chance to show your skills in perticular sports. We have karandak festival do search on YouTube you will find out the massive celebration. There are around 15000+ books and journals available for the students right now. And you can ask for a perticular book they will definitely find online or offline. Many students start their groups but it divert students from placement and career to popularity and fame.

Admission

I got admitted through CAP round and I was only searching for TFWS seat due to poor financial condition. Other colleges are also good but I find my college a bit free behaviour for students. I have not got any trouble through out my last 3 years. And I am in my final year focusing on my placements. The fees are average not so high or low. The best part is all sinhgad colleges do centralised placement. It gives more opportunities in placements. I really like the 24 hours open library to study late night. It helps me in exam seasons.

Faculty

3

Faculty will help you if you make a good impression by your marks and attendance in the first and second year. You always should get 8 or 8.5+ SGPA in every semester or you will regret in placement process. Exams are easy and simple. You will have 30 marks insem on 2 chapters from each subject. Then you will have end semester exam of 70 marks on other 4 chapters excluding 2 insem chapters.

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.
