My college TKMIT

I chose Computer Science Engineering mainlh because i like coding. And the job opportunities within this course is very vast and rewarding for many people and it will make them very much happier and happier in their life. The demand for computer science students has increased dramatically over the past few years as the technology is becoming increasingly popular and it has been growing rapidly in the past years But the teaching methods of our university have not evolved and is useless for students who wish to tone their skills rather than just clearing the exams and getting a certificate. The curriculum should include more practical work and reduce written theory papers which is for byhearting which is useless for increasing the skills.

Internships in our college are very rewarding and I love that they offer you the opportunity to learn and grow with the program and the community and the students that you work with in your field and you your team are very good and very knowledgeable and efficient

Students become eligible for placement at the 6th semester, 3rd year onwards Name of the companies visited TATA INFOSIS Average package is 400000-500000 per anum, highest is 500000 per anum 50% of students gets placed I plan on getting placement after completing the degree, if i dont get then i will apply through otherwise while taking M TECH at the same time

Year wise tution fees for computer science engineering i paid is ?60000 plus and an additional ?9130 which includes other facilities like library, gym etc and sem registration. This is for management seats As for merit seats, for students who got in through entrance exam (KEAM) allotment, the tution fees is ?50000/- plus the additional ?9130/-

Various cultural events and cultural activities are held throughout the year in our college. The name of the annual cultural event is RAGALIA The library of our college has a great selection of books and a variety of magazines and articles Each classrooms are equipped with projectors for virtual learning Annual sports meet meet is held every year, and separate football and throwball league is held every year

I applies to KMCT college of engineering kozhikode for the same course and even took admission but still cancelled the admission and came to TKMIT because of its high reputation and the placements offered and the calm and cool environment I didnt get any rehection from any other college as i have not applied to any other colleges, after cancelling the admission from KMCT i immediately took admission in TKMIT after knowing about it The admission process of our college is very simple, you just have to attend an interview with the principal. Our college accepta both the engineering entrance exams JEE and KEAM

There are 12-15 teaching faculty members in each department, where each department has at least 330-400 students The faculty i like the most in my department, CSE, is Leena Shaji maam. She is a teacher and takes the topic data structure(in C) S3. She is very friendly kind and always loving to the students, though she is strict she is still kind towards the students The faulty i dislike the most is Sir Sooraj who is the HOD of our department, he is very rude rash and too strict towards the students. There is 2 semester exams conducted by the KTU board each year, and in each semester there are 2 series exams conducted by the college. 3/5 of the students fail to clear all the exams
