Course Curriculum Overview

I like to learn more about food, that's why I choose this course ( food technology). There is maths in this course till semester four, there is actually no need of maths for a food technologist. The exams are conducted by the KTU at fixed schedule without any delay.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 82000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly it is 82000 thousand for the students who entered through management and 72000 for the students who allotted through merit. Bus fees - 10000 per semester ( varies from distance) . Hostel fees - 5200 per semester

Campus Life

There quiet few events take place in this college every year, onam celebration in September, union day in December, sports day in February , arts day in February etc. There are projectors in every classes, computer lab , mechanical lab and other labs are here too. All types of books are available in the library.

Admission

My brother suggested to join this college because he also studied in the same college. 50% of students get admission in this college through merit by writing keam exam and other 50% can enter to this college by management.

Faculty

Faculties here are very cooperative with the students. They clear all the doubts without any rejections. Most of the faculties are actually nice here but some are not exams are a way too hard as well as easy sometimes .

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
